Like this place but they are not open. Why does it indicate they are when not open??!

My wife and I loooove this place. We will stop in for drinks on occasion and love to eat lunch here. It's kid friendly and we actually got to know the waitress enough to offer to help her with her horse stables. My daughter loves horses. The food is amazing. Only drawback is the lack of parking available but I still give them 5 stars for the service.

Delicious food and a great atmosphere. The Halligan tavern is a great Irish-styled pub and one of my favorite dine-in restaurants in Derry. Be aware going in that some of the food and drinks are a little on the expensive side, but with the quality and quantity of food I'd always say it's worth it.

I just enjoyed their dishes. I always get great customer service there. The place is well organised and the employees are always kind. Highly recommended.

Great place for bartenders doing shots, everyone loudly cursing profoundly, drug deals (by the staff), crappy service, dirty smells, and mediocre food. Oh and this was all at lunch. Can't imagine what the evening would bring. It's really too bad, the building is beautiful and the place has real potential.

Nice downtown bar-restaurant with a neighborhood feel. Old converted Fire house with an interesting decor. Large bar with table seating. There is another separate dining room. We both got the Fish & Chips. Large portions and cooked perfectly. The onion soup was also as good as I've had anywhere. We will definitely be back.

After being in their for twenty minutes I felt like slashing my wrists. This place is more like a funeral parlor. From the help to the patrons all of them wore frowns and spoke rudely to each other. The male and female bartenders were to busy having shots and chin wagging with their friends to be bothered serving other customers. Both were extremely unprofessional especially the female who resembled Morticia Adams. The food was undercooked and smelled rancid. I refused the order. It did seem to be very gay friendly as many of the males were fawning over the male bartender who was enjoying the attention. To call this gay bar refined is to call the Stumblin Inn a gourmet restaurant. The bottom line Halligan's is a gay millenedumb lovefest that exists for the employee's.

I like it good burgers, nice staff if your hungry don't sit in the bar side, you might be waiting awhile.

Good food, great beer, service challenged by light kitchen crew, did the best they could with our large group.

Great service. The burger was perfectly cooked. The avacado wasn't ripe yet, though. But the mashed kegs were good and the atmosphere was fun.
