Eaten here over 100 times since it opened. Best food around, hands down. Everything is homemade except the bread. Jim & Mo are the best! If tacos or meatball sub is on the special board, A MUST ORDER.Vegetarian options: Mushroom bowl is Fantastic ! Cornbread with Honey Butter is to die for.

People kept saying these guys have great steak & cheese. Yep, great steak & cheese. The menu had so many options I wanted to order, but I had to start with the basics. Very good. Very unique old-timey decor with booths, tables and diner counter. Service was authentic and attentive. I’ll definitely be back. Located in an off the beaten path part of Dover, near the Dover rink and Rollinsford. Comfort food destination.

Ordered the burger with the in house pastrami on it. Pastrami was sliced too thick then was overcooked on the flat top to a tough, chewy, dry consistency on top of an overcooked burger that was dry. Poutine was excellent and portion size for all at the table was excellent and worth the price. Service was excellent and atmosphere was great.

The BEST cornbread I have ever had, I always make sure to take some home because it's just as good cold. I typically order the fried pickles and they are good but this Sunday they were the BEST I have ever had anywhere. I either get the pastrami Reuben or the pastrami sandwich, both never disappoint. Servers are always lovely and knowledgeable and love the small town diner feel! Always recommend!

Nice small place for subs(we were told) but the steak and cheese I had, the very thin shaved steak was too thin. It crumbled and was more like ground burger than steak. And tasted burnt as well. Despite everyone being very nice and the old fashion diner feel....we won't be back.

AWEFULFEST VIDEO

We had a family reunion with 12 people and decided to have it catered by Earl's. We ordered their St. Louis ribs and chicken wing catered packages. Both came with BRBQ and Buffalo sauce. Food was ready on time, perfectly packed and hot. The rave reviews from guests started after the first one or two bites. Meaty wings and ribs with "falling off the bone perfection." Earl's is an undiscovered gem. Absolutely the best I have ever had. We had some leftovers due to a couple canceling. So my wife and I enjoyed a second round. Even after freezing it a week it was better than before..or maybe we had just fallen in love over Earl's..the BEST!

Very disappointed in the steak and cheese. There were 4 of us and all contained significant grizzle. The fries were greasy. The atmosphere was cool and the waitress was great so we didn't have the heart to tell her when she asked how our sandwich's were. ( not her fault)

If you order takeout, don't forget to pay the tips in pickup. Otherwise, leave as fast as you can. Oh, most importantly, they have a basket of utensils in the hallway. DON'T grab any. Otherwise, you will be yelled by their staff. Of course, it probably will be a different story if you are WHITE !

Really fun eating environment with incredible sandwiches and other unique food items.

Way too expensive. Almost $36 ($35.97) for two steak sandwiches with no sides. One sandwich had gristle. The other was good, but not at that price.
