My daughter and I ate at Roots for our first time recently. I ordered eggs Benedict and my daughter had a hamburger. My daughter said it was the best burger she’s ever had. My eggs Benedict was super delicious. The staff is very warm & friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant for breakfast & lunch (I don’t think they serve dinner)!
If your expectation for a small town breakfast stop includes fresh, delicious food with courteous service, Roots won't meet but will exceed those expectations. Sean is the epitome of what one can hope of a server: knowledgeable, welcoming, and purely enthusiastic. The food was amazing, but don't miss out on the sweet potato kale hash. Neat old building that’s on the National Register Of Historical Places and their Eggs Benedict was delicious. So many old items to look at. The service was friendly and timely. Would definitely go back.
