My wife and I were up in Lincoln skiing and to see the eclipse. We first went to Gordy’s for dinner but was told kitchen had closed (it was 8:30pm) - no problem. We decided just to try Mountain Burger as it was next door. We talked in right behind two other parties - group of 2 and a group of 3. The first group was seated by the hostess. She came immediately back and asked the group of 3 in front of us how she could help them (sort of obvious I would say). They asked for seating for 3 and was told that the restaurant is t seating more parties. We obviously got the same answer. Hostess was matter of fact, no feelings what so ever. We found it poor business to not take all 3 groups as we all walked in at the same time. Or at least explain that there were no more tables and the kitchen was closing in 5 min. BTW there were plenty of tables. Never ate there and never will. Had a nice pizza at the 32 Pub!

Ordered burger medium-well, came out bloody as heck (people around me agreed it was extremely rare), sent it back.. same burger came out done enough to possible pass as medium-rare... Then the bartender was being rude because I joked about the cooks spitting on it or microwaving it. Also, onion rings and fries were overdone... probably won't go back. A shame because the burger would have been good if it was cooked properly.

Ordered 2 burgers with fries to go. Was a 30 minute wait for food. One burger was cooked perfectly, other was still little raw. No problem heated in microwave. Food was good. Will try again and dine in.

We tried this place twice while we were in the area skiing for the weekend. It would have been 3 times but Sunday night was packed with a wait and they wouldnt let us get takeout, so we ended up eating next door. The food was good, the hostess wasn't very friendly and had somewhat of an attitude but our server was friendly and nice. The atmosphere is cute and Cabin like with NH decor and nostalgia. The bison burger and brie/bacon burger were good. We also tried the Buffalo Mac and cheese bites and those were pretty tasty. This place gets busy on the weekends and there's a wait so get there early! We ended up going back during the week early for lunch when it was a lot less packed and had a nice lunch before leaving town.

Fun spot good service and efficient yummy beers. We got Mac and cheese bites which were fun. I got a burger and my buddy got a grilled cheese. Cooked well and the fries were crispy. Solid work.

Love the food here! Nice, accommodating servers (the hostess seemed to be having a bad day) and great service. Rustic mountain/Alpine ambience. Found ourselves going back several times during a weeklong vacation... Pretty much sums it up!
