Great food, great service. I had a cocktail - my husband had a beer flight. We loved all of it. The mushroom bisque and clam chowder were both excellent.

This is my fiancé and I’s new favorite restaurant in Nashua! We have been for dinner a couple times now and this past Sunday we went for Brunch. We had excellent service despite clearly seeing there was only one server on that day. Management was up front about the staffing shortage but the service and accommodations were unchanged from any other experience here. Staff is friendly and go above and beyond to make our experience a great one. Now the food… you cannot get this quality food anywhere else in Nashua. In my opinion it is up there with Surf and Buckley’s, plus COMPELTELY farm to table. The brunch experience was no exception. I got the Benedict Special.. yum! Our server Kerri was sweet, attentive and kept those mimosas flowing! We will become regulars at Nashua’s greatest hidden gem!

I have been excited to come here since opening. Unfortunately I was significantly disappointed. My son and I came here for a brunch date after not going anywhere for over a year as a result of having my hands full w/medically compromised baby. I called ahead; the person I spoke with stated they were busy and they would barely be able to fit myself/son. She mentioned we might even have to wait for a free table. When I arrived, most of the restaurant was empty. There was 4 tables occupied, 2 of them at its final stages. The place has a great aesthetic w/floor to ceiling windows. I felt generally positive upon entering. We were seated to a tiny table in which the wall comes jetting out so you cannot have your chair positioned correctly,(Think more on an angle/to the left). At this point I’m still trying to be positive but I was slightly disappointed that we weren’t seated at any one of the large open tables, especially the ones that were facing the river/fireplace which had the best view. This table is probably the worst seat in the house. Our server quickly stated the specials that my sleep deprived brain struggled to keep up with. I could have benefited if they were written/visual. When we were ordering the food I asked if a hash that was a special could be ordered as a side instead of as the meal and we were told no. As a result of the no, Rambling House received less money because I would’ve ordered that. We ordered 3 different version of this toast plus a Scotch egg Benedict that accompanied a certain type of potatoes. Following ordering our food we did not have to wait long for our order to come. The food was brought by someone whom was not our server; per his suggestion we could put plates on the table to the left of us. This was required because the food we ordered could not fit on the little table that we were sat at. At no point when we ordered our food did our server ask about being moved to a bigger table knowing that what we ordered would’ve never been able to fit on our little table. Right away it was noticed that one of the dishes had not been what we had ordered (the potatoe part was wrong). We assumed everything was kosher with the other three dishes. The 3 plates of toast were plated beautifully however when it came time to eat it the bigger issue surfaced. When the server finally came over to see how everything was I explained that the toast on all 3 orders was inedible. She stared at me and didn’t say anything so I proceeded to tell her you know like “ hard as a rock, break my tooth kind of thing.” “You mean stale” she replies. Now she could clearly see that we were scraping off the top of the toast and leaving the bread behind. At no point she did not offer to replace/provide some thing new/deduction off the bill. It became apparent she did not like my opinion and the her body language/tone made me feel like I was a small child. She gave me the most fake sorry before walking away. We did our best to enjoy the rest of the toppings on the toast and the other meal plate. At no point did our server come give us a refill for water. At this point we felt like we were checked off her list after confronting her with an undesirable opinion. She eventually came over with the smallest to go box when clearly we required a box that was twice that size. After more time passed we got the box/check in which I cashed out immediately. Now normally I would’ve not taken this food back home as it wasn’t worth saving but I did promise my daughter I would bring her the food we had for her to try. At this point it seemed entertaining to get her opinion since my son and I were on the same page. I spent $70 and change for only one dish that was actually edible and yet that dish was not even what we ordered. This affected the tip that I left. As someone who worked in this industry for 3 decades I am always a great tipper but I honestly couldn’t even leave more than 10% on the $70 order. I left a few key points on the tab in hopes she can understand why I did so.

I wanted to like this place. Tried it five times and was always iffy about it. We had great service the first time. Food has been decent, but for the price, not worth it. Tonight, we went to the bar and sat down, we were never greeted with two bartenders on. We were waiting for ten mins and then a gentleman sat down and got served within 30 seconds. There were three other couples at the bar and us before this gentleman joined. Not even a simple hello was given or "be right with you". As from what I can tell, they simply don't care. It's such a nice establishment but they need someone stronger to run it or something. Too much potential to go to waste.

I went to eat here with my wife and 3 children based on the Google reviews and an interesting looking menu. It was not a good experience. We arrived right at opening and they were nice enough to find us a table in the beer only room, apparently there were no other available tables. They walked us through an empty dining room to take us to the beer room. Fun fact the dining room was still basically empty when we left an hour later. Somehow we spent $150 dollars on mostly subpar food. I don’t know how that’s possible based on our order, all 3 children are under 10 and one only wanted fries. My son ordered pasta with no sauce or anything and it came with random shreds of what I hope was meat all floating in an inch of butter. We ordered a pretzel as an appetizer it was rock hard and dry in places and the warm cheese that was advertised was ice cold. The server had no knowledge of the menu and checked in on us very infrequently (always a problem when dining with children). In fairness the fries were good, my wife enjoyed the shepard pie, and the beer was eh. In sum, it was underwhelming and overpriced.Since the response is mostly about the seating. I’m want to be clear. The seating was not ideal, but whatever. Unless seating us in the beer only area makes their food and service significantly worse

Food was very average. Birria tacos were cold and oily. Drinks were too sweet. Service was pleasant but rushed.

Went here for dinner and had a fantastic time. Great atmosphere, delicious in-season dishes, and amazing beer brewed in-house. Would love to come here in the summer to enjoy the patio!

Unfortunately our experience was marred by the inexperience of the server. We went for Sunday brunch and our server did not know the menu items nor what the kitchen could provide for substitutions. She had a hard time serving timely so we had long waits and food was served cold. Hopefully she learns but the fact that no one seemed to offer her assistance was disappointing. We were excited when we first arrived by the decor and view so we may be back maybe to try dinner.

I went here with a group of seven this past weekend and it was delicious! My fiancé and I are vegans, and we had a lot of questions about the menu options. Our server and the manager both spoke with us and were so helpful! We will definitely be coming back here when the winter menu arrives!Vegetarian options: Clearly labelled vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free items!

This inviting restaurant has so much going for it. It's casual, relaxed feel lends itself to an enjoyable meal. The lighting is appropriately bright and the space is well laid out and intimate with fireplace. Did get a bit loud tho when it got crowded.Appetizers were warm and a big hit. Spelt pretzels were unique, and homemade mustard a perfect accompaniment. Potato pancakes were a filling combo of a loaded baked potato with crust. Duck was delicious app as well.Salmon was done perfectly. Swordfish was good but not great, as I wasn't a fan of the sweet chutney atop. Filet also had high marks from our group.Tasty beer selection and good wines by the glass.Very surprising they do not carry San Pellegrino or any bottled sparkling water, which I think any sophisticated restaurant should. I wasn't offered seltzer either, which was disappointing.Bread pudding was tasty, but the topping was dry and could have been improved had it been more incorporated into the custard below, which was creamy deliciousness. Brownie was fudge-y and all around great. Menu is a bit limited, but overall a unique and pleasant dining experience.

The menu is incredible and I couldn't recommend this place more. Chef G's food is outstanding and the waitstaff is second to none - they make me feel like family. Brunch on Sunday is a must. Do not miss the daily benny. I would give Rambling House 5 stars if Yelp would let me.

The Rambling house has some of best farm-to-table food in the area! Our food was delicious and the menu had something for everyone! Great atmosphere and the top floor deck is such a cool vibe. Highly recommend and will definitely be going back soon.
