used to be one of the best places in town but it’s gone down hill. i order the same thing every time, double cheeseburger, medium rare, with ketchup. and everytime for the last 4 times i’ve ordered i don’t get the extra patty i pay for (literally $5 extra) they cook it well done and can’t even bother to put ketchup on it so it’s dry and overcooked. today was the final straw and never again. i can’t keep paying $20 for a burger and fries meal they can’t even get right

Fallen Leaf Bistro used to be my go-to breakfast spot in town. Recently, the quality seems to have really gone downhill. I’d say about 70% of my experiences have been disappointing in the past year. I keep going back for the 30% when it’s amazing. Today’s breakfast was probably the worst I’ve ever had. I asked for the bacon crispy, and as shown in the picture, it was inedible. My sister didn’t ask for hers crispy and it was so raw looking she had to take it off her sandwich. The eggs were so crusty and dry that it was impressive. The toast was hard and didn’t have any butter on it. The only thing I could eat was the tater tots, which lacked the Parmesan and green onions that normally come on them (when you’re lucky). I honestly can’t believe that this meal was allowed to be sent out. I would have gone back and asked for a remake but I had to go to work. I truly hope the quality of the food improves and becomes more consistently delicious, because when it’s cooked right, it’s the best in town.

Unplanned last minute stop, but soooo happy we did! Fresh, fast and delicious! Made to order. Order at the counter and table side delivery.

I can’t believe we’ve been in Rochester for over a year and have just tried this place!! I feel like we’ve missed out! Everything was fantastic from the coffee and toasted coconut hot chocolate to the hash and home fries! Love the extra effort these people put into making their food. It’s homemade and made with pride. I can see us becoming regulars!

Sunday morning scaries. Tell me why at 10AM, "isn't it lovely" by Billie Eilish was blaring. First of all that made it weird as hell like why are we crying at ten am. Then the server I was greeted by was the most unhelpful and super rude!!! Loved that part. Ok so then I get my food, not what I ordered- no sriracha on bagel, avocado hard as a ROCK, bagel was chewy, eggs were over cooked,And the tiniest piece of bacon. Also hashbrowns tasted like they were boiled. Do better be better and change the damn playlist. The first few times I've been here were amazing but this time was not it...

Honestly disappointed today :( last time I came everything was great, but I think whoever they had on the front counter wasn't all there today. The food was good, but I ordered a London Fog and it came with zero vanilla, just tea and milk - which was really off putting when you aren't expecting it. Also sucked having to wait out in the cold for our order to be ready - I've been here before with our dog and they were happy to seat us while we waited and ate. Not sure if the policy changed, but getting told we had to wait outside only after one of my roommates had already put in a food order definitely dampened the mood for us. Would have just gotten drinks if we knew that going in. The food is nice enough, but I wouldn't recommend this place for coffee/lattes - better off going to Bean Me Up or Beat Nix.

Thought this place was dog friendly, never had problems before. Had seen others sit and eat with dogs laying down by their feet and visited a week prior and was able to sit and eat without any issue- Workers even asked to pet my pup. Today I was told after ordering my food dogs weren't allowed to sit in, so I had to wait for twenty minutes in the cold for the food to be prepared, even with one dining room mostly empty. Kind of disappointed, as this was a place I frequented before and I will now be going elsewhere, as the place is pricy and the wait can get as long as an hour if they're busy. Good alternative is Bean Me Up, sadly same management and different hours but far better ambiance and friendly staff. Food is way more affordable too.** Updated since I reviewed when I was still a bit upset about waiting in that cold. I get that restaurants have certain restrictions with dogs for Food Safety, but I wish they'd been a bit nicer at the counter

I ordered the grilled cheese and it came with minced undercooked (or uncooked?) bacon on it.

Honestly the best food and service around! The menu is always amazing and so many rotating specials! It truly has expanded beautifully over the years since it's open. This is the place to go to for food!!!I am always going to send people to this restaurant! Every single thing I have had on the menu has always been a hit and mouthwatering delicious-ness. Also... you really cannot beat the prices with how good everything is and the portions are great and the nice ambiance of the place adds a nice touch if you wanted to dine in. Service has always been top notch from the cashier to the cooks. And to the owner of course. Truly a nice little gem in Rochester and I HIGHLY recommend checking the place out!

My first time to dine here. My first impression was that the place smelled of stale cigarettes. But if you get past that the food is excellant.

This may just be the best place for breakfast in Rochester. Not only is the food great with delightful rotating specials but also Cafe quality beverages both regular and adult. The only criticism would be the small size limits seating, but to go orders and delivery DoorDash are available.
