I have been to Windham Restaurant several times with no issues ( maybe slow service) but last night was the worst. The pasta looked like leftover, overcooked cut up pasta. When I complained to the waitress she said maybe you need more sauce then she walked away. The pasta was so bad! When she finally returned to our table I asked if it was possible to get a small bowl of penne which she brought a short time later. No comp for the disgusting pastaNo apology No how can we make this right? No offer of anything after I showed her the pasta was like paste. Very disappointedThey have seem to gone downhill a bit with their meals. As a note I’ve ordered this same chicken piccata and not had this problem

First time visiting. Service was decent and fairly quick. However, I ordered the steak and let's just say, the plating of this might look decent, the taste of the steak....not so much. I don't know if they just forgot to add literally anything to it when cooking, but it was not good at all. I would not recommend getting the steak here. For $30+ atleast throw some garlic butter and some seasoning on that steak.

Had a great 70 birthday dinner there last night- food was excellent and had a room all to ourselves! ( 8 adults and 6 kids). Food and drink and waitresses Jessica was awesome! We were even able to order a magician as we waited for for food ( website suggested) overall everyone was happy and so was my dad. I suggest the magician- was good for all ages!

Jake was our server and he was the highlight of our meal. Great service and personality. The onion rings were excellent and the drinks were generous. The duck special was a bit dry but tasty and the other meals for our party of 6 were good but not exceptional.

If we could give this restaurant no stars or even a -star would express our (4) thoughts. The service was just about nonexistent; the food took way too long to cook resulting in three of us getting cold and or uncooked food served to us. The atmosphere was loud with boisterous voices from a bar carrying right into the dining area where we were seated. Never again will I or the others even think about returning there. Furthermore, I will warn others to stay clear of this restaurant.

This is the 3rd time that I've dined in this restaurant and have experienced the same type of service, food quality and have no intention of returning to this restaurant. First, service is slow, regardless of the volume as I've been there when we were 1 of 3 tables being served or packed, delivery is relatively the same, slow! Second, food is average at best, they serve frozen broccoli and it is tasteless. We recently ordered swordfish, and it was roughly 3 ounces, thr size of a palm, the sides were also on the smaller side, the mashed potatoes measured roughly a half cup. Other than the courteous and good server, the overall experience was less than average.

We reserved a table here for Valentine's Day based on their expansive online menu. However when we arrived, we found that there was only a limited menu specifically for Valentine's Day which was not communicated anywhere on the website. They stated it was because they had over 200 reservations that night and needed to keep the menu small so the kitchen could manage. Ok--that sounds reasonable. Did this menu happen to have only expensive entrees on there to take advantage of the high traffic? Yes. It was basically just chicken and fish, unless you wanted to fork out $49 for the Surf and Turf which was filet mignon and shrimp. But what was unacceptable to me was that this special Valentine's Day menu had a lot of overlap with the normal menu, meaning it a small subset of the SAME items, but at marked up prices. I was really looking forward to having their Limoncello Marscapone cake which is normally $9 but on this day was marked up to $11. Didn't even have a chance to order dessert because the kitchen closed half an hour after our reservation time--a fact of which we were not notified. The ambiance was fine. Service was quiet slow. The food was OK, but definitely not worth the inflated prices. I wish I had better things to say. I'm sure if we had come any other night it would have been fine. But the menu offerings and prices on this day did not match what was advertised online, and we definitely felt cheated and that the restaurant had been dishonest, and it really left a sour taste in our mouths.

I'm not entirely sure about the current rating for this place, but it's not accurate. I've been here twice and both times were a great experience. You'll be so busy plucking off the appetizer list, that you'll forget there's an actual main course part of the menu. Chicken Parm, Chicken piccata and the surf and turf with Filet Mignon and baked stuffed shrimp were spot on. Drinks were excellent (and strong!) and the atmosphere provided comforting vibes (C'mon critics, it's a 212 year old farm house, did you expect Davio's?). And yes, it's famously haunted. The Windham is on my list of regular visits.

Food and drinks were very good. Service was decent, although we were essentially forgotten about after we got our appetizer and had to flag the server down to order our meal. We were seated in the front room, and it was extremely drafty and cold next to the windows. When we got there it was moderately busy, by the time we left it was pretty full and you had to practically yell to be heard by the person sitting across from me. Food was very good, service was decent, atmosphere was a big detractor. I also thought the prices were a bit high given how uncomfortable the dining situation was and how limited the menu is.
