The Brown Dog Cafe in Oaklyn offers a nice atmosphere for a casual coffee or light meal. However, my interaction with a staffer was less than desirable. which detracted from my overall experience. While the coffee is decent, it may not be exceptional enough to outweigh the potential negative interactions with the staffer. Staff need coaching!

Cozy little cafe with great drinks! Their chai is amazing! They have very good pumpkin cream cold foam. Totally obsessed with it. There is plenty of space for you to sit down and chit chat or do your homework or study. The staff was great and super friendly. It gets packed really quick but the workers are quick!

Visiting from California and wishing there were more places like this there! I ordered the vanilla latte with almond milk (hot) and very satisfied with my drink. It’s always a hit or miss with almond milk as the milk source, but Brown Dog knew what they were doing. Will definitely be coming here for my next visit!

I love this coffee shop. Coffees are about average price and tasty. Staff is nice and tables are spread out so you can have a private conversation with a variety of different ambiences depending on where you choose to sit.

Such a cute little coffee shop! The barista was very friendly and patient as she helped up decide on what to get. Coffee cake was delicious and we both enjoyed our coffee!

Stopped in for a coffee. We found them online and decided to give it a try after seeing they offered lemon ricotta toast. Unfortunately they had sold out of that item.
The coffee was hot, strong and delicious.
The avocado toast was delicious! They don't skimp on the ingredients. I loved the house made chili oil!
We also ordered a bagel with cream cheese. It was filled with cream cheese.
My daughter had the donut. I didn't taste it but she said it was delicious.
The atmosphere is laid back. My only complaint is the amount of seating. I guess they have free wifi. Every table had one person on a computer.
I think that one person commandeering a four person table is not good for business.
We sat in chairs in front of a couch that was occupied by a young lady on her computer. We said hello, but she was annoyed that we sat there. There wasn't anywhere else to sit.
I would suggest they add a bar seating or high top tables set ups for the computer users.
The staff is super friendly and inviting. I will definitely visit again.

Amazing ? coffee and the house made syrups are delicious, I had a iced latte with lavender and strawberry syrup with oatmilk its to die for should've got a bigger size

Went on memorial day 5/27/24 where there was just one barista working. But she did amazing, friendly and fast service and delicious drinks. I just wish she wasn't the only one on shift, seems like some bad scheduling by management
Genuinely such a good vibe. The inside is so cute and the workers were so friendly. ALSO to the barista that recommended the beignet, u were right it was life changing. I’ll 100% be back to try everything.
