Pastrami always succulent and juicy, a great lunch. Hope these guys prosper for years to come. A staple in the community

I would give this deli 10 stars if I could! The best corned beef on rye I’ve had since Kaplans Deli in NYC. The beef hotdogs are delicious as well. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Haven’t had the matzah ball soup yet, but I’m sure it’s going to be excellent! Can’t wait to try it!

Drove 30 minutes to get here at 5:45 knowing you close at 6pm - per your postings. Doors locked. Don’t waste people’s time. Not nice.

You use to go have a sandwich made. Now you pick from the lot. Reminds me of ShopRite left over sandwiches. Only more expensive 😞

I came here 20 years ago when I was last in the area, and as I luckily found myself in the area recently again, I just had to come in and rekindle some beautiful and tasty memories. I was nervous that old memories, especially as I am getting old, might have been unrealistic but thankfully I was very wrong. The Corned Beef on Rye bread was delicious. The Matzo ball soup was perfect, with super light dumplings that I had to complement the Owner on, they were that good. As for the Latka/Potato pancakes, they was tatsy and not at all greasy, and a must get. The Staff and the Owner could not be nicer, and obviously care about serving quality food. Please God it won't be another 20 years before I am back for another refill.

The best old-style Kosher deli in the area! They make their own brisket, pastrami, chopped liver, soups & lots more. Helpful courteous staff that's like family. It's no wonder that people come here & keep coming back.

They pretty reliably will have potato and kasha knishes and smoked whitefish and other smoked fish, cold cuts and salads.

Vegetarian options: The kasha knishes are worth writing home about.

Parking: Are people in this parking lot excessively angry or is this just New Jersey?

The brisket was sensational. It was tender and melted like butter. The bread was so soft. The pickles were fresh.

I come to Bergenfield annually for 1 week out of the year. This is always my first stop to eat and usually my last stop before I leave. Since before the fire I've watched the prices more than double. But let me explain...They source the best meats and cook their food to perfection. Their meals are healthy. They have not reduced their portion size to save a buck. They are the best in the area and even beat out some of the more famous NY deli's. You get what you pay for.As long as they keep these values I will always be a customer, and it will always be my first stop.
