I've been a fan of Mincemeat pie since I was young, multiple scores ago...lol. I couldn't find a mincemeat pie that tasted like my Pa Dutch family made them. After years of searching I've found some. Country Hill Amish Bakery in Berlin, NJ has the best tasting pies that copy the flavors of old. The Mincemeat pies are seasonal and I'm so glad I found this bakery !!!!!! Amazing Christmas gift for me. Thank You !

Disappointed at some of the items. Love tea biscuits and these were made with raisins on the ouside but inside NOTHING. Also it tasted more like they use shortening than butter in their products. So, it's OK but not worth making a special drive for. And be sure to check their hours. They do not comform with the Berlin Mart hours but have their own. Cheesecake is very good which is why the 3 stars. Just a little too much crust. But excellent flavor.

The doughnuts were outstanding! Worth every penny. They are delicious! Have not tried anything else, but will return. Lots to chose from. Service was good. You can watch the workers making pastries thru a window. Located inside the Berlin Farmer’s Market.

It's not like a restaurant, so I wasn't looking for atmosphere... um, it's a bakery, lol.The snack collection is dead-on with flavors. We got the ranch cheese balls and they were devoured quickly. I had pretzel chips with everything seasoning and it had the right amount of spices. Again, devoured quickly. The cakes are fresh and flavorful. They make a phenomenal carrot cake but not a fan of the coconut in the icing. Going to try something else next time.Donuts, ahhh, what can i say about thier donuts.... To die for! They have a great selection with interesting combinations like chocolate butterfinger. I personally love the Dutch Apple. Boston Cream is my next love.Tried a canned good and it wasn't what I expected. But they have variety of stuff to continue to try.I give them a 6 star out of 5 rating.I've come to the conclusion I'll be spending at least $60 in here on every visit.

there was a lady working at the front that was super rude! i was so shocked because i am always welcomed with great service, except for today. me and other customers behind needed more time to look over the baked goods - she got hostile and kept rushing us! i understand that she may have had a bad day but we didn’t do anything to deserve that treatment. i’m extremely disappointed. when i come to the berlin farmers market, i always make sure to leave with a pastry from there. not anymore.

Some great baked goods. But the women that work there are miserable!!! Rudest group of women working at one place I've met!?? They really don't want to help you even the owner one time caught one of the girls at the counter being rude to me and said something so I guess he knows! And they're only open 3 days you would think they'd have a better attitude never shopping there again!!!

DO NOT BUY FRUIT PIES FROM HERE !!! 3 times now, I have purchased fruit pies from Country Hill and the pies contain VERY LITTLE actual fruit. Last week, I paid $6.99 for a tiny cherry pie. The pie had about 15 cherries inside. The rest was that thick, gooey, syrupy fruit filler. Completely unacceptable I am so sick & tired of so many merchants trying to rip off consumers in the interest of their own bank accounts. This has really become a problem after Covid. Never returning again to buy anything.

The bagels are out of this world. The doughnuts are so tasty. Haven't tried the cinnamon buns yet but I suspect they will equally delicious
