This couldn’t have been a more amazing restaurant. We went for the piano bar. But the food and weight staff were spectacular.

While I recognize why this restaurant is so lauded, and well-regarded, this review is more of a suggestion to other readers than it is a full condemnation of my experience. Hence the three-out-of-five stars instead of one star. If you are planning a romantic dinner for two, or perhaps dinner with another couple, or maybe five or six friends, I'm sure you will enjoy yourself immensely. That said, if you are planning a dinner involving 10-or-more attendees, go somewhere else. The staff of Ristorante LUCCA has proven itself ill-equipped to handle your orders correctly with a party that large.I attended a 40th birthday celebration for my sister. We had fifteen adults in our party, along with three young children. I understand this is no small task for a waitstaff. However, I feel it is well within my right to assume a restaurant that carries such a high price tag for their wares has no right to make excuses for failure of service, especially when four waiters were employed for one party. Refilling single-order wine glasses without asking the customer, failure to refill water throughout a meal; these things I suppose are excusable. My wife is vegan. She was the *only* vegan sitting at a table of 18. While we were happy to learn they had a dedicated vegan selection, we were less enthusiastic when they served her regular pasta with dairy-based cheese. ONE vegan at the table. I would agree with you if you were to have guessed hers was potentially the easiest appetizer order to remember, seeing as how it was the *only* one of its kind. Sadly, this was not the case. When we informed them of their mistake, they retrieved the pasta dish. While she did receive her correct order eventually, it did not arrive until her entree had already been placed in front of her. No apologies were offered. As it relates to my entree: my brother-in-law and I had decided to split the special: a $200+ 40 ounce steak. We explained to the head waiter that we would be SPLITTING the dish. As an omnivore husband of a vegan wife, I don't often eat red meat. This was to be a special occasion for me... and I was excited! The steak arrived and I watched intently as the head waiter shaved beautiful strips of medium rare flesh from the bone. My attention interrupted briefly by my wife and aunt, I turned to speak with them. Upon turning back a few minutes later, I saw my brother-in-law enjoying his dinner. Looking down, there was no plate set before me. I then spotted the HEAD WAITER who took our order walking a plate of leftover medium-well pieces to the other side of the table, offering other guests a taste. I raised my hand above my head and said, "seeing as how he and I had intented to SPLIT the steak, if you recall, I guess that's mine." His eyes went wide, his face went white, and he placed the sad excuse for a medium rare steak in front of me. Grey chunks of fatty, well-done meat. He quietly whispered, "sorry," and walked away.I suppose out of 18 guests someone had to get the short end of the stick, and that just so happened to be me and my wife. In the end, my sister appeared to have had a great time and that's really what matters. That said, if any dining establishment is hosting a party spending (I assure you) $5,000+ for their meal, one would think said establishment would pay extra attention to ensure all members of said group were pleased with their experience. I most certainly was not, and do not intend to ever return.

The worst pasta that I ever tried in my life! There is no worse feeling than spending money on disappointing food.

My wife and I came here last night with very high expectations and they unfortunately were not met. Greetings were great, appetizers were great, but that was about it. I was told that the supplier of their cuts of steak are the same company that supplies the White House. I don’t typically order steak from Italian restaurants because I’m kinda a steak snob but I went for it since I was kinda sold on it. It was a bone in 31 day dry aged rib eye for $120. The steak came out and was paper thin. It looked and tasted like a delmonico you would pay $20 bucks for at a bar. My wife ordered the red snapper which looked like it was going to be great until the guy preparing it table side put literally 8-9 large spoon fulls of oil and pesto on top. My wife’s plate looked like soup by time he was done. The server was not attentive at all. We ate dinner for about 1.5 hours and it was a struggle to get a second cocktail. I also am a big Italian wine drinker and I literally watched the wine sommelier go to every table except ours so once I was finally able to flag our server down since my first cocktail had been empty for 30 minutes, I asked to see the wine list by the bottle. Kinda thought he would get the hint to send the sommelier over. Welp, he didn’t and he brought me the same cocktail list that had a handful of wines to purchase by the glass. Overall was very disappointing considering we spent $500 for two of us.

It was a great evening in the Piano Lounge. We celebrated a family member's birthday. As has been our experience, the service was outstanding. Don't be intimidated by the menu. Order as much or as little as you want. Ask for recommendations or suggestions. The wait staff have great insight and made for an outstanding experience.

The food is good and the service is exceptional. This was our second time there. Once again, after dinner, we went into the piano lounge for a cocktail and listened to the live music. If you are looking for a special night out, this is definitely a place to consider

From the moment we stepped in the service and kindness of every encounter exceeded our expectations, that being one part of this exceptional evening. The meal and presentation was beyond exceptional.

Salvatore makes the best pizza outside of Naples Italy . Great food , atmosphere and Dean is an excellent entertainer on the piano . His musical repertoire ranges from Sinatra to nat king Cole to the Beatles and so much more — he is the consummate professional . The food is authentic, and the service is impeccable Once you go to Lucca ‘s you will never go to another Italian restaurant It's the best !!

We sat in the lounge for my mom's birthday. The entertainment sang a few songs requested by her. Management was involved in every step which made it feel special. Everything was fantastic and wonderful! Definitely worth coming here.
