As amazing as the food is here I’m writing this review more for the server/waitress, Debbie. My fiance and I have eaten at many places in the Monmouth and Mercer county area and she by far provided us with the best service we have ever had. She went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed celebrating our anniversary and she will be a big reason why we come back here in the near future.

Came here for our anniversary dinner. The food is off the charts good. The harvest salad with pears and candied pecans was excellent. For mains I got an aged NY strip, and my wife had salmon. Both were prepared perfectly. We got both the truffle fries and the Brussels sprouts for sides. The Brussels sprouts were wildly good, and I'll be ordering them on any and all subsequent visits. Staff was knowledgeable and attentive. It is not a huge space so it can be a little loud, but not crazy. As good or better than many restaurants I've gone to in NYC, and only a 20 minute drive. Highly recommend!

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! Even though it was very busy, they graciously fit us in last minute, and the service was top-notch from start to finish.
For appetizers, we ordered the Bacon Steak, Italian Egg Rolls, Caesar Salad, and Clams Casino. Everything was cooked perfectly and bursting with flavor.
For our entrées, we went all out and ordered the Lobster Malfadine, Chicken & Shrimp Fra Diavolo, and the 16 oz Bone-In Filet Mignon. The mains were all excellent—cooked to perfection and full of flavor. We also ordered sides of Mac & Cheese, Creamed Spinach, and Mashed Potatoes. While the entrées were flawless, the sides had minor seasoning issues. The creamed spinach could have used a bit more seasoning, and while the mashed potatoes were wonderfully creamy, they were slightly on the salty side.
For dessert, we tried the chocolate cake and butter cake. I definitely recommend the butter cake—it was the standout!
Overall, this restaurant delivered a fantastic dining experience, and I’d highly recommend it. Even with the small issues, everything else was superb, especially the service and ambiance!

The best clams casino I ever had. Try the Italian egg rolls. Every entree was phenomenal and delicious. I had the salmon. Good place for a steak, pork chop, veal and seafood. The eggplant parm serving was huge.
Definitely overrated for the prices. The food was ok, the bread was cold and the butter too hard to spread. The pasta was average. The pomegranate margarita was the worst margarita I’ve ever had and I barely touched it. Everyone said it was too dark inside and the chairs and tables were so tight we couldn’t move. All the servers looked stressed or unfriendly.

Our server George… terrible!! Would’ve had a way better experience with a different server. Steak was amazing, but server completely ruined the mood. Came for my birthday as well. Felt like we were treated unfairly, because of color of our skin or maybe our younger age, still no accuse whatsoever. My family had been coming here for years, the second i’m by myself with friends it’s a terrible experience. He threw the utensil at us, barely came over, argued with me about the food i did not like, disgusting attitude and felt like he didn’t want to be there at all. Terrible terrible terrible.

Our server was super friendly, knowledgeable about the specials, very attentive in making sure we had everything we needed (including water refills without us needing to ask). The food was excellent -- I have never had a bad meal at Toscano's -- this is the perfect place for great food, a wonderful atmosphere, and superb staff.
