Went on a Saturday night and Initial reaction i wanted to leave, but glad i stayed. The lounge has two parts. The first area closes at 10pm and after you are directed to the rear after. The front area could definitely use a renovation as it is not visually appealing to customers. This bar was also the first i have been to that has a machine that is connected to the register which manages the liquor dispensed automatically....so definitely no overpouring here. Drinks were reasonably priced, a single shot drink ran for $5. Music was really good via the DJ. Food was pretty good but pricy. Overall I would go again if in the area.

Great neighborhood spot. But they are officially closed as of 12/17/22. What a sad day!

This is still a fun lounge to go to in the Newark area. There's no parking except on the street. No food except the old Chinese Restaurant that is right next door.

Great drink prices

We came for a birthday party. Things were okay. We had a VIP section and decided to order another bottle. I was taken back that a bottle of Ciroc is $225. That price is outrageously overpriced. The VIP birthday was overpriced for such a small space. No additional amenities came with the VIP either.

Nice place to chill

This could easily have been a 4 star review. The first time I went here with my friend, it was really nice. A bit of an older crowd. The vibe was very chill, not too many people, the bartenders were on point, and there was karaoke. That was a nice little surprise. Last night was different. We paid 10 dollars a piece to get in, which was fine. The female bartender in the front was completely rude and dismissive. It took 2 of my friends and I about 15 minutes to get 2 beers and 3 shots. It took another 10 minutes of her walking by and purposely ignoring us to pay for it. At this time it was just us and another couple at the bar and they already had there drinks, so there was no reason for her gross attitude. The booth in the back wasn't roped off and I sat there once before. I was told we had to purchase 2 bottles to sit there. Fine, but I asked how much the bottles were and was put on a bit of a run around and still to this moment dont know the prices. The female workers, who were pleasant before, were just off-putting this go around. I regret asking my friends to go there with me, it came off like I lied about the place and what it was like. Completely different right down to the way we entered the building. The vibe was off. Maybe it's only chill when it's full of mainly employees or during the week or something. Trust we won't be going back to find out. Bright Spot: The DJ is on point. Not a single complaint about the music. Karaoke that one night was lovely and almost kind of intimate since there were so few people participating. Not a single complaint about the drinks either.**

I went here 4 times since February. The week before my birthday, then I celebrated my birthday there (both Fridays): I liked the DJ that day and it was full but not too crowded. I went on a Saturday which was a younger crowd and a Sunday. If you get there early enough I'd suggest you get a seat. Later you will be standing. Also in the front it's a cool environment for the older crowd to get a drink after work. They don't try to kill you with the drink prices. 4-6 dollars but they are these little plastic cups. Who cares right? I would suggest you be fully vaccinated because people don't always honor the 6 feet rule. The food is really good. Stuffed baked potatoes and chicken. It may take a while, but the wait is worth it. The later you get there the longer you have to wait. I think it's open 7 days a week. I'd suggest you get there early around 7pm have a seat enjoy the music and be out by 10 before the crowd gets there unless you like a crowd! Bartenders are nice and music is live!
