Food taste old & it’s not properly seasoned & the chicken wasn’t even cut properly just a bunch of bones. Way too expensive for the food to not taste good I’m disappointed & I would recommend rise Caribbean instead the food taste more authentic & fresh like it was made out of love & they have bigger portions. Sorry not sorry I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Came in , made my order, lo and behold they were out of the dish i paid for , I elected to have the fry shark added , which i must say left a stink fishy smell and taste, very hard to chew and swallowed, shark should be juicy , soft edible and easy to digest, such was not the case , i used to love coming here but service is a hit or miss most times and just recently started returning but today I am so disappointed, if it’s not edible please don’t serve it, from one culinary trained chef to the next , if its not edible do not serve it !!! I’ve brushed and floss and im still tasting that taste of old forgotten shark left in a deep freezer

I will just focus on the food. I’ve ordered several times because we order as a group. I stick to the jerk chicken and Rasta pasta. The taste has never been consistent. Most concerning is the chicken they give is just bones. There is never the right amount of meat for the pieces they give, it’s like it all falls off before you get it. So I’ve basically been paying $18 for some penne noodles and some bones. I guess try it out but skip the chicken n pasta.

So I come here about 4x a month and the food is amazing. However I don’t know if the people hate their job or just don’t want to be there but I have NEVER received a warm welcome or a smile or any sort of greeting just NEXT. If you have customers you should make them feel more welcome to your establishment. Seriously l have been a long time customer here for over 2 years and today just through me over the top. If the food here wasn’t great I would of been stop coming here just because I feel like my business is not wanted or appreciated. Hope this review improves your hospitality being that your in that type of business. ( trying to support black owned business making us look bad?)

Guyanese restaurants are scarce. So, it's great to find one where the service and food are excellent. Demi, one of the employees, is soft spoken and very kind. She serves from her heart. As a matter of fact, all the employees have been kind. Make the time and find out for yourself. The patties, plait bread, cassava pone are faves, thus far. The stew chicken is delicious too. Am fairly new to this restaurant; so, there's a host of other dishes to try. Did I mention they're open 7 days a week?? Don't miss this rare gem?Vegetarian options: Pumpkin, Chana, fried plantains, callaloo, egg plant, carilla, spinach rice, peas n rice, and so much moreParking: Meter street parking

I have been on the hunt for good Guyanese food for a while. This did not disappoint at all. I had the curry goat with fried rice ,steamed veggies and plantains. Also got a side of Roti cause why not . The food was amazing and they def earned themselves a new customer.

Depending on who serves me is how my food turns out. This go around I had a bad experience with my meal. This food is too expensive to receive the back bone of the thigh. 3 of them on one plate. The taste is there but I have more potatoes then chicken the cheapest meat to buy.
