Barely better than nothing. This is a good place if you are too lazy to boil noodles yourself.

I love this little restaurant. The noodles were delicious with very nice texture. The quantity was great and the food is cheap. Service was great.

The food here is good but wow... The service is truly appalling. Writing this as a Korean American, I am especially taken aback by how rude our server (who I believe is also the owner) was to us today. My family and I walked in to Joong Hwa Ru at a little after 1:00 PM. There were a few other customers inside who were already eating but the lunch rush was definitely over and the restaurant wasn't crowded. We didn't receive a greeting from anyone working, which is an anomaly in Korean culture. Our meals came out quickly after we ordered (2 stars for the food being delicious) but as we were eating, the waitress walked over and literally dropped the check on the table next to me without even saying a word! Both my husband and I were shocked, but we placed our card down on the tray for her to pick up. After she had collected the tray, she took the check without saying thank you and promptly returned. She bluntly told me: "We don't take this card." ("Line ob suh yo)." and then stalked off again. Even after we paid, there was no thank you and no goodbye greeting. Anyone who understands Korean culture will get how off-putting this experience was.

Poor service, rude attitude and lousy greeting.I drove out of my way because I was craving for jjajang myun.I walked in about 7:57pm the lady asked me how many people in a rude voice tone as if she didn’t want to work/ as if I was bothering her; told me to sit anywhere in her still unpleasant voice tone; I was the only person in the restaurant; she took my order walked to the kitchen; placed my order then she walks right back to the front door and hangs up the closed sign when the restaurant closes at 9pm.She never came back and asked me if I needed anything else. But the noodles were chewy and food was good to my taste; I left her a $1 tip to let her know that service was poor and unacceptable. No customer should be treated so rude and with that attitude she doesn’t belong there; maybe she is the owner then all the more she is very unprofessional

Great portions, home-made feel for korean food.

the tang soo yook portion was much smaller than what i'm used to, but the food came out fairly quick. they don't play any music and it's no frills for sure but the lady is attentive and helpful. the jjajang myun and jjampong were both solid pics. i'd def go back!

Great food, a lot of space to enjoy the food and even better owner/ employees. From the minute I walked in it was 5/5 stars!

Kind waitress, solid jajangmyeon, beef tangsuyuk wasn't particularly tasteful but its sauce was great. Very much enjoyed my meal here, great job.
