Everyone here is super nice! We love the atmosphere here! The lamb on the grill was the main highlight of our meal! I came here with a friend and they said you have to call ahead to give them a heads up!The skewers here are all really tasty! If you are a fan of goat/lamb meat this place is the place to be! Their noodle broths are really good and filled with flavor! They also have “kong xin tsai” which was delicious and fit well with the meat!Recommend: signature lamb skewers, the full lamb on the grill, lamb noodle broth, and “Kong Xin tsai”!

I highly recommend this unique barbecue restaurant! I recorded a short video to wonderfully showcase their distinctive grilling style. Unlike typical barbecue joints that just serve you the finished dish, here you get to witness the entire grilling process, which is both engaging and minimizes smoke . The quality of their meat is exceptional, fresh and tender, leaving a lasting impression. The service is thoughtful, especially when it comes to packaging takeaways, where the owner warmly inquires if extra seasonings or side dishes are needed, reflecting their careful consideration for customer experience. In short, this barbecue restaurant is definitely worth a visit.Highly recommend this unique barbecue restaurant! I recorded a short video that showcases their unique barbecue skills. Unlike ordinary barbecue restaurants, this place not only serves the finished product, but allows you to witness the entire barbecue process, which is both attractive and reduces the production of smoke. Their meats are tender and fresh. The store's service is attentive, especially when taking away the food. The boss is always enthusiastic to ask if you need additional seasonings or side dishes. This barbecue restaurant is definitely worth a try.

The service is amazing with the staff always there to help you. The food is good with the beef and fried rice being some the best in my opinion.

Very Elegant Way for BBQ. Delicious?

Service was non existent. Food is overpriced and not memorable. The only good dish is the beef tendons.

Recommend: signature lamb skewers, pork lung slices (fu ji fei pian), spicy rice cakeGood: lamb skewers, chicken gizzardsOk: fish tofu, dumplingsThe lamb by itself had a bit of a sour taste but the signature lamb skewers were nicely seasoned. I like chicken gizzards and was excited to see them on the menu but they may not be for everyone. I love fish tofu but I'll stick to having it boiled. The spicy rice cake might be my favorite rice cakes in town. I love the spicy oil. The pork lung slices were also a favorite with nice soft tripe. Both worth trying. The server insist on overcooking the meat, I had taken a few off and they were probably medium well (just a tiny hint of pink in the middle) that had cooked for about 9 min and the server insisted on putting it back on the coals and when they said it was good to eat (saying it's only fragrant when it's cooked) it was quite tough, chewy, and dry.The staff suggests about 10 min to cook so do keep it in mind that it may take a while to eat here.

Food is always great and always a great experience when I come here and bring friends and family for their first time. Support small family owned businesses like these as they are far and few nowadays. Thank you for an amazing meal as always.

bbq skewers were good enough, my bad experience was the fried rice. Description said it came with chinese sausage, but instead, it came with spam. SPAM! No explanation of substitution. Make sure you get what you ordered. Oh, 18% minimum tip is forced on you on their bill.

Food were delicious! Coal BBQ with lamb and beef skewers. Also with bacon wrapped mushroom, okra. Ordered mutton soup and sauté three pork internal organs which tasted pretty good. Only the seating are old, not upgraded restaurant that makes experience not in the highest end. They also try to charge 18% tip.

This place is a hidden gem in Edison, which is exactly why I am worried about writing this review. I do not want to see a day where there are lines outside of this restaurant, but the establishment does deserve all the praise I'm about to give.Semi-automated charcoal grills are not new, they've actually been quite popular in China and other Asian countries for a while now. That being said, I don't know any other place in New Jersey that offers this kind of infrastructure. Finding a place that specializes in Mongolian-style skewers is also quite rare.Do not come here if you are not prepared for spice. Even if you do not add any spices to the pre-seasoned meat on the skewers (the primary spice they offer here is shichimi togarashi), those who are spice-sensitive will find themselves sweating at pretty much anything offered. If skewers aren't your thing (why are you here?), there are other offerings on the menu such as cold-dishes like cucumber salads, and even some Korean offerings (like seafood pancakes).I do recommend at least speaking a little bit of Mandarin Chinese here to get over the language barrier, but it isn't actually necessary since the service and the menu is quite straightforward and the staff is very responsive. This is a fun and delicious spot to go out with friends (BYOB) or a date. Just beware, if you have a party size that is larger than 6, be prepared to be seated at different tables. As this place gets more and more popular, be prepared to call ahead to place a reservation as well.

A low-key local store for skewers, soups and grilling food. I like the way they marinate, good enough, not too salty or oily (Usually Chinese food is). The Lamb skewers and Chicken gizzards are highly recommended. Stews are also on point. Fast service is a plus as well.
