Came here with my wife on a Sunday for lunch and as always when I go to a diner I've never been to I love to get a western omelette. Unfortunately my omlette was very over cooked And really had no flavor. The home fries were nice and crispy but again lacked any flavor. The absolute horrible thing was the steak and eggs my wife ordered. The steak was gray and tasted old it had a weird after taste and it looked like it was boiled. She had it sent back and ended up not eating. The waitress was very nice and took it off the bill. She was very nice and the service was good. But we did not like the food. I didn't finish my plate and I always eat every last crumb

This place came so highly recommended by my wife for years that when I found myself in the area while on tour, I absolutely had to stop in for some breakfast.I had a short stack of pancakes and a Taylor Ham breakfast sandwich with egg and cheese.The Taylor Ham sandwich was delicious, the roll was soft and I consumed it while it was still warm, as my waitress advised.The pancakes were among the top five 'cakes I've ever had in my life, they were delightfully fluffy, insanely tasty, and large enough that I'm glad I only got the short stack.My waitress was Elaine, and she was super nice and visited the table multiple times to fill my coffee and check on me, despite how busy her station became.My only complaint is that they do not sell their branded coffee cups, which I wanted to get as a gift for my wife. However, they allowed me to take pictures of one, and I'll be doing my best to copy it, so she can have a little bit of home with her when she drinks her coffee.When next we are in town, I'll be visiting again for sure. What a treat!

The only item I ever get here is a patty melt. Been here a couple of times....3 stars because the waitresses are so nice. The patty melt is decent. Everything else........meh. not worth the money. It's so sad because who doesn't want good diner food in Jersey?!?!

Went to this place today and ordered a quinoa bowl. I guess the kitchen thought I was stupid because they replaced the grape tomatoes with beefsteak and didn’t put on the dressing until I asked for it. Not to mention they cheapened the meal but it didn’t cost any differently. In addition they didn’t properly season it so essentially I paid $13 for a quinoa bowl I, not a chef, am able to make better. So very disappointing.

Beautiful retro diner with perfect diner food. Well cooked and not greasy. Our server Judy was wonderful and kind. I was introduced to the Taylor Pork Roll official New Jersey breakfast. Lovely desert choices, and a huge menu of breakfast and dinner items.
