Best hotel in Edison, excellent rooms, pool is great, staff very friendly and professional. New bar is beautiful and Starbucks cafe is available whole day. I also use club lounge for my meeting. Overall a great place.

United Airlines comped us the room, since they caused us to miss our flight to Greece...but the hotel has just been renovated and it was very nice. About 20 mins from the airport. Food was good too.

I am here for a convention. The convention ends every night of the weekend at 10pm. When I, and a lot of other people arrived at 10pm to check in, there was a single person at the desk checking people in. There was a line of 18 people. It took 45 min to get to the desk to get my room key. I was so exhausted when I finally got into my room- but I noticed a bad smell. And then, when I took off my shoes, I stepped into a sopping wet puddle of a carpet. Right between the two beds. At least I now knew what the smell was. But I was exhausted and didn’t want to go back to the huge line downstairs to complain, so I just went to bed instead. I opened my iPad, but the internet was down. Annoyed, I went to sleep. The next morning I went to the desk to tell them about the wet carpet, and to ask about the internet. They said there was an outage for internet, but they would send someone to the room to address the carpet. So I went off to work the convention.I returned to my room at 10pm again. And when I got undressed and took off my shoes again, I stepped into a SOPPING wet carpet. The smell is *very* noticeable. But again, I am too tired and annoyed to complain, so I covered it with towels and am in bed. At least tonight I have internet. I’m checking out in the morning, so I don’t care anymore. But I wouldn’t choose to stay here again, which is disappointing. I always thought of Sheratons as a bit nicer- I’d probably have a cleaner room at the Hilton garden in down the street.

Horrible customer service! I created a reservation due to arrive on September 12th for one night. I made the reservation, and as soon as I did, the front office manager named SID emailed me right away saying my reservation was canceled! No notice, nothing! When I told her to reinstate my reservation as I was coming, she said it'd been cancelled and that this was the notice! She’s just ghetto, rude, disgusting, undertrained, and trashy; she needs to work at Burger King, not a Sheraton! She didn’t even try to remedy the situation at all! very dismissive, arrogant, disrespectful, uneducated, and rude Stay away from this place if you’re looking for good customer service. The front office manager doesn’t care at all about guests; this is not the place where you want to be! Please stay away, and the GM clearly needs to do a complete rehaul of the management team at this property as they are beyond disgusting. I do not recommend this place at all! Stay away; you’ve been warned!

Stayed there last week. Had an issue and asked for Manager, was told no manager on duty, asked that they call Manager. Front Desk staff said he was driving to work. Asked that he call me, he didn't. I called hotel, they said they'd put me right through to him. Went to voice mail. He called me back three minutes later and said he was out of the office. There are plenty of other fine hotels in the area, don't bother going here. GM is 100% non responsive to issues in his hotel. Does not adequately address safety concerns.

Great location for events. The room had a few issues, but nothing major. I was a little confused about the time the restaurant closed. The front desk said 1030 PM, but the restaurant menus said 930 PM?

The hotel is nice & clean. The staff is friendly. The bed is fairly comfortable. The bar is open later than other hotels in the area. Which is great for guests who are in town working long days & just want a couple hours to relax & unwind. I would gladly recommend this hotel to others.

Were to start...Day 1 upon arrival our room was not ready. We where told over an hour wait. We already arrived an hour late due to traffic from our check in time. I was late for the event I was there for already. The app didn't work to check in, so we had to wait online to check in. Two things that I even called about were not available. Low floor and fatherless room. I had to explain that I was a 9/11 worker who has ptsd to get her to give us a lower floor and then there was none with a double bed so I had to call my friend and tell her she couldn't come. They had to defeather the room, so we put our stuff in and went to the convention. 2 hours later we came back and the room was still not done being defeathered. We went to the room and waited. A lady carrying everything in her arms came and changed the bed, leaving us with no comforter. Thank goodness there were 2 toilets in the room because one didn't work. There was no conditioner in either shower. The coffee maker was dirty and spitting out chunks of brown stuff. Starbucks was closed early or just not open so no coffee for me. The tissue box in the bathroom had one tissue left in it. The shower had dangerously hot water.Day 2 the maids never came. We had to ask for towels to be brought up just to shower. Garbage had to be stacked on the floor because of the tiny garbage can being full. Since none of the drinks in the room were replaced nor having a usable coffee maker. I went down to Starbucks but they were closed early or never open again and so I had to buy water from the front desk. It cost way too much! We decided to go for a swim. The pool was really cold and we couldn't stay in long at all, so we went up to shower. The the fire alarm went off while we were in the shower. Upon entering the stairs people where yelling keep the door open. The door to get out of the stairs was locked and they were all stuck. We went across to the other side stairs, where they found the doors were working. Then the alarm stopped. All this over some smoke from a microwave. We finally get back to our room, and the neighbors were loud through the wall and in the hall for over an hour. The sound proofing needs work.Day 3 We got up and packed up to leave. I went down to the front desk to get a cart and was told you had none. She just stood there. I expected her to offer to let me know when one was back. Maybe even have it brought to the room. But no just stood there. I said what can we do to get our luggage out. She then directed me to a guy by the door. He was kind and said there was 2 just sitting over to the side. I took one and we finished checking out.As a single mom who is struggling this is the first time I've been away from home in 6 years. I had to for work, but I really was hoping for a nice time and a place I could pretend to be far away at. I'm so very disappointed.I will never choose to stay there again.Nearby activities: Close to the convention center but with no shuttle service.
Front desk person was nice enough. When we went into our room and saw there was only one towel and one washcloth, we asked the woman with the cleaning cart if we could have more, but she was very rude and just kept yelling at us in another language. The pillows and beds were comfortable even though the beds seemed really close to the ground. We tried to eat breakfast in the restaurant, but there was no one there. I will say that as we packed up to leave, the cleaning people were extremely loud-I don't expect them to work in silence, but I also shouldn't hear their entire conversations through the walls.

This is only our second stay at Sheraton. The other was in Atlantic City. This one in Edison could benefit from a good scrubbing of the lobby furniture as well as the furniture in the room. There were stains all over the place. However, the overall cleanliness was good. The swimming pool was nice and easy to access. Agacent to the gym... which looked great, and many people were utilizing it. We took advantage of the on-site restaurant for lunch and then again breakfast. Overall, it was good food, and in line with what I expected after my experience thus far. The staff was very pleasant and kind. The linen in the rooms was good, but it was not quite up to the Marriott standards, I believe. If you have a choice to stay for a business trip or a short stay, I would recommend it.
