Place is great. Chaufa phenomenal. Come here for lunch or dinner - it's relatively small but has a cozy vibe.

If you have never had Peruvian food, come to this place and order the salchipapas. You will be hooked for life. Delicious food, charming restaurant, and the ladies that work the counter are super nice.

Love this Peruvian spot! chicken was the best tasting , packed with flavor and very tender. the sides that came with the combo were hugely portioned. so good!one con: steak was a little over cooked imo

Best Pollo a la Brasa in the area!Better take out than delivery (takes too long and arrives cold)

People were very nice. However, As much as I tried to find healthy options there just weren't. there salad is with just iceberg, noradush no avocado no mixed greens. The "churasco" Is not skirt steak called " Falda" en espanol( which is lean)flame broiled so not fried Instead it it is poor quality meat loaded with fat and fried. They did have sweet potatoes but it tasted from a can. Although she mentioned it was boiled but it did not taste or look that way. For $26 I would of gotten better quality dish.

Second time.. cheated again. Not sure if its a language barrier or the place is trying to trick its customers. Got beef empanadas instead of chicken. Also, our the chicken fried rice came with extra serving of salt and beef (there was more beef than chicken in the chicken fried rice). Also get an actual itemized reciept. We paid $70 for fried fish + 3 chicken (beef) empanadas + chicken (beef) fried rice and soda (2). Thought 1st time was a mistake but the same exp. again on the second try seemed deliberate.EDIT: Moving from one to 4 stars. Went back to talk to the owner. He was able to give me a detailed reciept and replace my beef w/ chicken empanadas. STILL strongly suggest you get a customized reciept and validate, we paid $15 for 3 empanadas ($5 ea. pic). I think its advetised as $2 ea.

I’ve been to this restaurant on three different occasions, once as a customer and twice to do a delivery. As a customer there was a long wait for my order and the staff was not necessarily rude but also not very welcoming. On both occasions to pick up orders to deliver the staff was very rude. The second time I ended up cancelling my delivery and leaving. I will not be accepting any more orders from this place.

I found my new Peruvian spot in NJ. It’s a small spot but the food is delicious and the portions are generous. I had the Tallarín a la huancaina con lomo saltado.?????

New to the area so trying as many different cuisines to see what's good. Had the tripe soup and a pork tamale. Portion was generous and prices were very reasonable. This was like having a home cooked meal. Soup was loaded with hominy and the beef/tripe was super tender. The tamale reminded me more of a pastele, I loved it.Will definitely order from here again and let my family know about it!

Great food but they take forever!! This is the second time I order food from this place and my husband leaves without eating. I called at 10:44am and then again at 12:00pm they said 10 minutes then I called at 12:29pm and they didn’t have my order that’s ridiculous and then they have the nerve to say 10 minutes, it’s currently 12:51pm!!! If I could give it 0 stars I would

I used to like going to this place for their llomo saltado and their chicken combo meal. Unfortunately, time to stop going to this place and find another place. Last one was the same issue where it got so bad that it wasn't worth it. One, the woman who answers the phone is rude. Hangs up when she can't understand you. Not everyone speaks spanish and they should have a person who is able to answer the phone who's able to communicate with the customer without hanging up if you don't understand. Two, I don't get how you seem to run out of food, tell the customer to come in within a certain time frame and still wait another 20 mins or so. Not everyone just sit at home not doing anything else where they have time to wait over 45 mins for a meal. Not the first time that we had to wait. This is why we always called within reasonable time frame, but what's the purpose of calling in advanced if you still have to wait for the food when you get there. I know loosing one customer isn't going to hurt the business, but there is room for improvement if you want a successful business. Good luck and hopefully no one else has to deal with this. We believe in supporting small businesses but we also believe when it becomes a chronic problem time to move on.If you have the time to wait and nothing else to do go for it.

We've been ordering here for several years, last week we ordered food including 3 papa rellenas for a party. After we loaded the car with the food and got home we realized we forgot the papa rellens, I called the owner and told him I couldnt go pick it up because I had a house full of guest and he said no problem. We went on July 4th and ordered $100.00 worth of food and we got the papa's to realize when I got home the papa's didnt taste right, tasted sour I believe it to be a week old, I'm extremely disappointed since I've been going there for years to have been sold spoiled food. I've been debating if I should post my experience and decided this was unacceptable to give customers spoiled food. I'll be giving my business to another peruvian restaurant. I gave it 2 stars because the only food that is worth buying is the chicken.

My dad recommended this place because he knew the owner (my dad used to own a ramen shop down the street from this) and man, I wish we had listened to my dad sooner. The food is sooo good. Flavors are explosive and makes you crave more! We loved the lomo saltado and the spaghetti with yellow sauce. The causa was interesting; it's on the salty side, not much of a acidic taste that I'm used to from eating this made by my peruvian friend... but my husband loved it so overall we really enjoyed our food. We definitely knew we missed out because when we went to pick up our food, a family had just got their food and their charcoal chicken smelled sooo good! We will definitely be back!
