My issue isn’t with the food but with the lady who answered the phone. I was asking a question regarding the prices on the paper menu I had and instead of clarifying the prices for me , she started yelling at me and saying how I had a menu for 20 years ago and started telling me the menu I had wasn’t from her store but I got it a year ago when I lived closer to the area. I was confused as to what she was saying and asked her what the price was one more time and instead of answering it she yelled “DO YOU WANT IT OR NOT?” I kindly said no because she was being rude throughout the whole call. This has been my favorite Chinese food spot since moving to the area but today’s interaction was horrible.

I ordered honey chicken wings w/ pork fried rice & an egg roll. 1st the egg roll was burnt, I attempt to taste it anyways & it had no flavor. The honey chicken wings & rice was good. I’ll definitely order again if I’m in the area. I rate it 7.5 out of 10

New to the neighborhood, I was looking for a good Chinese restaurant. We all know that they are hard to find so I was super skeptical. This place exceeded my expectations. They gave me exactly what I asked for, it was fresh, chicken well done and they were reasonably priced ✔️ ✔️ ✔️. No complaints.

Garden China in Elmwood Park NJ is a great establishment . The wonton soup is outstanding. Chicken with eggplant can be found here on the menu where other places don’t always have it and you have to request it.

This place used to be really good. However, they have been very unprofessional lately. I placed an order $51 for delivery. It arrived very quickly and I tipped the driver 15% as always. However the food was so spicy that I could not eat it. I need 2 bottles of water after trying it. So I called back to ask what happened and if she could redo the meals. The lady told me the pepper that she makes it with came in like that and she can't control that. Also she cannot remake for free bc then she would be losing money. Long story short, I paid for food that I cannot eat and she yelled at me and hung up. I will not order from here again and I advise caution if you order.
