Love, love, love Chapati Delhi! This is one of our regular spots because they nail the classics every time. The chats are always fresh and packed with flavor, and their drinks menu is awesome (we've tried them all!). We appreciate how welcoming they are; it's definitely kid-friendly, which makes dinner so much easier. Highly recommend checking it out

If you’re looking for flavorful vegetarian food in NJ, Chatpati Delhi is a spot you shouldn’t miss. The menu has a nice variety of classic Indian street food and homestyle vegetarian dishes that really hit the mark. I tried a few different items, and everything came out fresh, flavorful, and with the right amount of spice. The chaat was tangy and crunchy, the paneer dishes were creamy and well-seasoned, and even the simpler lentil dishes were cooked with care. It’s one of those places where you can taste the effort they put into making the food truly authentic. On top of that, the customer service here is fantastic. The staff is warm, welcoming, and always willing to explain dishes or suggest something new to try. You really feel like they care about your experience. Between the tasty vegetarian options and the friendly atmosphere, this is an easy spot to recommend.

Chatpati Delhi thank you so much for catering Mata Rani bhog during Navratri. 300 guest and all loved yummy satvick food without onion garlic. Taking care of every detail for Pooja order. We are very grateful and thankful 🙏. Thanks Abhijit and team for your service 👌🤩 Jai Mata Di 🙏

An Indian restaurant specializing in street food but at an elevated level. Despite the long lines, the staff never rushed us. The food was exceptional, every item we ordered was a 10 out of 10. Will come back again and again to try all the items on their menu. With Samudhra and now Chatpati Delhi, Franklin Park is on the road to becoming a food destination.

Not worth it after seeing the NYT review. They are literally like every other Indian restaurant serving a wide variety. No real difference in taste. For the price the quantity was bad. The kati rolls were so small and every bite you had to pick black pepper out of the bite as it was not chewable. I ordered over the phone and they forgot an item (at least they didn't charge me for it but still would like to receive all items ordered). Veggie keema pav was decent.

We had catering for our Mata Ki Chowki and it was amazing! Abhijit helped with a great menu, and Chandu’s team made fresh bhaturas onsite that reminded guests of Delhi Chole Bhature. Every dish was delicious, and the staff took care of everything so we didn’t have to worry. This will be our go-to catering for future poojas at home! Highly recommend.

This Indian restaurant made the New York Times top 50 restaurant list in America. It was the only spot in New Jersey to make the list. I decided to come try the food and it did not disappoint! I had the kadai chicken which is a weekend special and my friend had the butter chicken. Both dishes were very flavorful! The kadia chicken was very good! The atmosphere was nice and the waiters were all very kind.

Wow, just wow! The exact north indian taste I was craving for 3 years , In honest, in A2B, in Indian hut and 100s of restaurant but thirst of that taste got satisfied today. Size n portion is also generous. The staff is also super humble. They deserve to be top 2025 best restaurant. Loved it, blessed them n hopefully they open nee branches in all 50 states. NYC, Princeton are next options for expansion .

If you are looking a good Indian chat place then don’t look anywhere just go to cpd. We have been here many times and our experience was always good except one or two times a specific dish (veg kheema didn’t turn out well.) otherwise we enjoy eating at cpd. Pradeep and the two other hostess always give a warm welcome and provide excellent customer services!

We were just there, reached the restaurant at 9:10 pm, two people and we were turned away suggesting that our turn will come in half hour but by then it will be 20 mins to close and therefore won’t be able to serve you food.

And we could see vacant tables. Not sure how they manage this.

The food was amazing and evey bit worthy of the hype. The service was fantastic! Our waitress was knowledgeable and helpful with recommendations. The restaurant is clean, and well decorated. The only thing was how noisy it was with all the people at the restaurant. Even then the experience was amazing.
