When they reopened it was a nice change. Since then It has gone downhill. Salad yesterday cucumbers were rotten, tomatoes were suspect. Ya'll better get back on your game otherwise with the 3 pizzeria's within a 1 mile radius...

After enjoying Mama’s pizza fairly regularly years ago, we decided to pop in on a whim. The pizza didn’t seem as I remember—it was fine, just not my favorite. The sauce lacked the depth of flavor I look for, would’ve liked a bit more cheese (of course, it’s always my prerogative to order extra cheese), and the crust was a bit on the toasty/crunchy side for my taste. By no means a bad pie, just left me in search of some extra flavor that I usually hope for in a freshly made pizza from a neighborhood pizza spot like Mama’s. Service was fine and friendly enough, and prices were reasonable.

Took my 6 year old Grandson, his 4 year old brother and my son here for a kindergarten graduation lunch. It's primarily a pizza place but they have a dine in area with table service. They graciously served our choices family style. It was perfect for sharing a dining experience with young ones. Garlic knots, ziti, meatballs, sausage and believe it or not wonderful fried calamari that everyone enjoyed. The boys used the complimentary bread to soak up any sauce they could and they were given ring pops as we left. Lunch and service were great. A wonderful experience to introduce kids to dining out.

Pizza is ok. Cheese and sauce lacks flavor. Doughy too. To be fair it was a warmed up slice, but it wasn’t that old and I’ve been eating pizza long enough to know if it were a fresh pizza it would taste pretty much the same. Nice people. I wish the new owners luck, but their pizza needs some upgrading!

the owner made me smile with a fully aluminum covered to go box making sure my pizza stays warm while I take the train to Newark. I just had to run and tell. GO HERE OR BE SQUARE

I took my girlfriend to Mama’s Pizzeria tonight and brought a bottle of red wine. We ordered a slice of pizza, which was delicious, nice and crisp. My girlfriend had eggplant rotini, which came with a salad and pasta. I ordered the classic spaghetti with meatballs. We had cannolis for dessert. This has now become our favorite Italian restaurant, and we highly recommend it.

Since Mama’s closed a few years ago, I’ve tried to find a good pizzeria in the area. However, I couldn’t find anything as good. Recently saw that it reopened with new management. The pizza is excellent, better than before. The only issue I would say is how the pizza could have been hotter. But this is minor as this pizza is fantastic. I highly recommend!

My boyfriend is from north jersey and they have better pizza then our area (it’s true ok) and since he’s moved to this area with me, he’s been searching for a really pizza spot (we’ve tried them all) tonight we decided to order since the re opening and he was so happy to finally have the pizza he’s been chasing. their speciality slices and their plain pizza are both amazing. so happy to have good pizza in the area again!
