The waitstaff was well-trained and knowledgeable about the restaurant's history and cuisine.

My wife and I had a very pleasant dinner at Diamonds. Sherry, our server, was attentive and provided excellent service. She provided helpful descriptions of the different dishes which we appreciated. We ordered the veal marsala and the clam linguine. Both dishes were delicious. The Limoncello cake was just the right blend of sweet and tangy, just as Sherry described it. The manager also greeted the guests at each table, which was a nice touch, that the customers were appreciated. As with everything else, the prices are not what they used to be but we will dine there again for sure.

Went there last Sept and it was wonderful and so was the service. Went there this weekend for birthday and service was very very poor ! They never took away the glass and dishes that were not going to be used. Had to ask for everything . To beat the Band, a the price for a Crabcake with lump crabmeat was 80.00 !!! Unheard of , I could drive to Maryland and pay 80 for Fuel. Maybe the crabcake has Diamonds in it ?? We got put in the front dining area as you walk straight in. We were ignored between courses . Very disappointed and we will not go back. It ruined our birthday celebration .

My wife and I went on a Sunday to celebrate my birthday. I made a reservation a couple of days before by phone. We were greeted warmly upon arrival and seated in a comfortable part of the nicely appointed interior. Our server, Brynly, came to our table immediately and opened our bottle of wine (BYOB restaurant), served us the home baked bread, and gave us some privacy as we viewed the menu. She was very accommodating. We decided that we both wanted the same dish and ordered the Chicken Francaise. The chicken was fork tender and had just the right amount of lemon flavor......delicious. The menu is filled with Italian dish selections, as well as steak, veal, and sea food dishes. We ended the meal with a tartufo, an excellent Italian ice cream dish. There is plenty of parking and an outdoor tent for dining in the warmer months. We will return for another dinner selection. We also viewed the lunch menu, which looked very interesting, and intend to go back and try that too.

We love this restaurant! We visited in person for the first time in November, but we are frequent diners for delivery, in these Covid times. We were never at this restaurant before Covid, but we were looking for food to be delivered that was more than the normal take out. All sorts of authentic italian breads- the brushetta bread and the spinach bread are our favorites! The wild mushroom soup- soooo good. Reminds me of the mushroom soup we would get at The Manor, in West Orange. Wild salmon- not farm raised- is amazing!! Our other favorites- filet mignon and rack of lamb and eggplant parmesean. Imagine getting this delivered this promptly right to your door? Amazing! We werent impressed with the desserts, but by the time dinner is done, there isnt much room for desserts. When we ate in person, the atmosphere was warm and friendly, even though we were strangers. We love this restaurant- so special!!!!

Very tasty cream sauce over chicken breast with potatoes and vegetables. Stuffed mushrooms were very Italian and tasty. Very friendly staff.

We had veal parm and vodka rigatoni and a so called antipasto for a salad. The veal parm was served over a cut up spaghetti. The vodka rigatoni had only miniscule pieces of proscuitto! The antipasto salad had only chopped onions and cucumbers over romaine and dressed with a hard boiled egg! Very few pieces of small chopped bits of cheese and salami!! NO olives NO peppers NO pepperoni No tomatoes No proscuitto! That is not antipasto that is a basic salad. For the pricey prices charged we were very disappointed in the quality of the food. Our waitress was not attentive and very scattered. They are on Route 33 also. Thought when they moved to Route 156 (a smaller place) it would be better. It is NOT better. Do not recommend and will not go back.

Atmosphere is nice but service is terrible. Little blonde female bartender is awful - would never go back due to her rude and uninviting demeanor...I can't understand why anyone like that would even be in the service industry. We only ordered an app but it took almost 15 minutes for the bartender to find ketchup and there are no beers on tap nor is there a beer menu.

Visiting family in NJ and came here for lunch. I had Balsamic chicken and it melted in my mouth, very moist. My sister in-law had linguini with clam sauce which she loved and my husband had meatball parmigiana sandwich and he said meatballs were delicious. Then for desert I had tiramisu which was one of best I've ever eaten. My husband had the apple turnover which he said was amazing. Prices were very reasonable. I'd highly recommend this restaurant.

So very disappointed. Didn't realize that Diamond's was no longer there. We had reservations for Garden 33, but on the reservation it did not indicate there was a "special" (limited) menu for Christmas Eve. We've been to Diamond's for the last two years on Christmas Eve and never encountered this. Our server, Gina P., was great but the meal was not even mediocre. The seasoned chicken was dry and looked like chicken wings with a lot rosemary sprinkled on top. We had 5:30 reservations and left at 7:30 and my husband didn't even get to complete the "7 course meal." Can't imagine they will be around much longer....

Fyi for anyone considering diamonds of hamilton gift certificates for the holiday, dont waste your hard earned money, ill never spend a penny in that place again. Purchased a 100 gc for friends when they were at cedar gardens location and since they moved...still boasting about their longevity, they refused to accept same. Livid does not cover it. Theft is more appropriate

We had reservations for 7:15 we stood waiting for someone to acknowledge us. After about 7-10 mins we were seated. It was not crowded. We sat for 20 mins before one of us asked who our waiter was. Finally she came over. We then asked for a cocktail list which took too long for what she needed to retrieve. We ordered a martini and a glass of wine. After 15 mins we got the martini. I was told they didn't have the wine. Appears that whomever is in charge of stocking the bar is inexperienced since they only have a few types of red wine and they are attached to a liquor store. I was brought a much inferior wine to try which then I asked for something else. After 45 mins they found the first wine I ordered!!! The food wasn't too bad but not something I would go back for. The rack of lamb lacked flavor and was not cooked how I like it. Normally I would send it back but based on the poor performance of the wait staff I just ate the done pieces. I ordered a vodka and club. They gave me tonic instead. I personally went to the bar to complain based on how slow the drinks were being made. Overall disappointed in the whole experience!
