I was in there on Saturday, March 30th to get mini torps and I handed the young girl a fifty dollars and the 15 cents and I got my change, had it in my hand and didn't put it away and walked out, and not thinking to check it. I got in the car and I'm like wait a minute. I gave the girl a fifty and the bill was $12.15. I only got back $8.00. I ran back into the store and the older lady was very rude and said that she's too busy to check and said there was nothing in the register. She says they put the big bills under the drawer. There was nothing under there except for 1 $20 bill. How is that possible, when it was very busy and why would there be only 1 $20 under the drawer and not in the slot. She ask the young girl and the girl didn't say a word. She would not answer her when asked if I gave her the money. She said I would have to call later because she can't check the cameras now. I said what time should I call back today and she said no not today Monday. I had a family emergency yesterday, so I call today Tuesday and the girl wasn't very pleasant and said I would have to call back after 12 when Judy comes in. The people at this place are not very personable or friendly. When you deal with the public, you are supposed to be friendly and nice. Not this place.

Ok....I was in there yesterday, 2/15/2024, the lady was nice who rang up my order, in which I only bought a couple mini trips...n I saw a slice of Coconut Custard pie (which is my FAVORITE) N I bought it for $2.99 a small slice. I went home, ate dinner, n was expecting to have my delicious desert....well,thank God I smell everything I eat be4 putting in my mouth....BECAUSE IT SMELLED SOUR, I THINK THATS RIDICIOUS....N they had it on the table in the middle of the tiny store which takes up mostly all the RM. In the store ...omggg, was I pissed. I wanted too have that so bad after dinner tonight n here I threw it out n wasted my $2.99 REALLYYYY PEOPLE, U NEED TOO CHECK YOUR FOODS, PIES, ETC. N DATE IT....NOT JUST WANT TOO MAKE A BUCK, SERIOUSLY....I USE to work there yearsss ago n I've worked in alot of food establishments n that's uncalled for. Lady was nice, like I said earlier. But that desert pie smelled AWFUL.....GET IT TOGETHER IPB ??I also have Anixity n an eating disorder btw .....so this did not help it. ?Parking: Should be a ramp for a wheelchair or a handicap person to get up on sidewalk there.

Grew up in Chambersburg and my family has been going to Italian people’s since it opened for holidays, birthdays etc. Everytime I come into this location the short Spanish drawn on eyebrows lady is rude as can be. I bought a premade cake and they would not write happy birthday on it and she is just plain rude and sometimes other staff as well. It’s obvious I’m not the only one who noticed based on the reviews.

Lady working acted like she did not want to be there. Not friendly at all. Nothing like my Chambersburg days, that's for sure, although the rolls are still good. They also had no cannoli cream to make a cannoli!

This place disappointed me. When I visit my hometown, I always stop to pick up fresh cookies and baked goods to enjoy, but this time ,, was not good. The cream puffs were soggy, and the cream had a lemony taste to them and not in a good way. Cookies seemed old, not freshly made. The Garlic fingers were really tasty.
Best half torps! I wished they would ship.. people would pay..

Their breads are great. Rye bread is awesome.They have or did have some pretty miserable staff. They never smiled!!!! My last visit though, two young new girls were pleasant.

Went there after work to purchase baked goods and the young lady with glasses and dark hair was working the register and then handled the eclairs. Never had any issues with the other young ladies and staff. She was very rude and clearly had an attitude I asked her about gloves as she was handling the register money and people’s cards and she said “ I’m touching the paper”. But I watched her and either way, it’s unsanitary. Will never go back, more because of her bad attitude.
