OMG!! This place delivers what I've been missing my whole life in the area. The flavor profiles are spot on and done with the warmth and love you would associate with Home cooked Soul cuisine. Shrimp and grits you simply can't duplicate in any chain or franchise. Collards to die for. MJC- Ordered the fried pork chops with yams and collard greens . The chops were large, well seasoned and succulent. The greens and yams were delicious as expected. There hours are a little tricky, but I thoroughly enjoyed the food.

I'm from Phila and since moving to N. J. I couldn't find a good local soul food place until now. The food is good but a little wait for chicken and other platters, but worth the wait so call inadvance. The ribeye steak sandwich is The Best such a good flavor but the thing I would like is a more chewy bread, like a itilian roll which won't get soft or wet and can stand up to the steak. Thanks
