This place is my go-to for fresh sashimi when I'm in the area. A true mom-and-pop place, the restaurant is run by a cute and hardworking couple and that is it in terms of staff. I see many reviews here about the lack of service but that has never been a problem for me -- they work diligently to get food out quickly and that's all that matters! We came for lunch and got the katsudon, chirashi, and Tsukasa bento. The katsudon was okay, I probably would not get again. It was a large portion of rice topped with a pork cutlet, eggs, and onion in soy sauce. We were pleasantly surprised with the quantity of food in the bento box and it was enjoyable. The main reason I return to Tsukasa is the chirashi. They give a generous portion of fish and it always tastes clean and fresh. I really like the sushi rice underneath as well.

Excellent Authentic Japanese. Very low key operation. Great for dining out. Love the Sushi, as well as the Udon Noodles. The eggplant appetizer is to die for. Give them a try- you won’t regret it.

I went back again today and the food is phenomenal. I don't know that I've ever had authentic Japanese food before but I'll never go back now. The katsudon was so good and it was the best miso soup I've had.
