Little Nicki's Italian Restaurant

An absolutely pleasurable experience from beginning to end! This restaurant is a must try for anyone if ever afforded the opportunity. The staff was extremely friendly, the food was delicious, and the portions were very generous. This establishment went above and beyond in every way! I would highly recommend this hidden gem and will definitely be going back!

Tonight I had the pleasure of dining at the Little Nicky’s with a group of 10 friends, and as always the restaurant did not disappoint. The portions were impressively generous and every dish was absolutely delicious. The outdoor setting, complete with a cozy fire pit, added a special touch to our evening. To top off the night, the restaurant gave us a “s’mores charcuterie board” and lit us a fire in the fire pit for build your own s’mores! This place truly excels in creating a warm inviting atmosphere and seriously serves up some delicious food. Highly recommended! P.s. don’t leave without trying the pesto pasta ?

Food is excellent as described in other reviews. Atmosphere and service were also great. Drove 45 minutes to try this place. Only complaint is the sharing charge. We ordered a full size salad an 18 inch specialty pizza and chicken parm entree and were charged an extra 5.50 for sharing the food between 2 people. I understand there is a charge for sharing entrees but it should be waved if you are also ordering a full size pizza and salad. Probably will still go back to try other food and sit outside. However will probably steer clear of entrees since sharing is extra.

Our experience fell short of the expectations reflected in the many 5 star reviews. We were a party of 8, but one of only 3 seated tables. Judging by the amount of people coming in and out, the take-out customers were certainly prioritized over the dine-in customers. 80 minutes after arriving, our salads were served. The homemade pastas were above average. The homemade sausage was very dry. Red sauce was very watery. Lasagna was swimming. The Stromboli and calzone were grossly under cooked. While the portion was enormous, the ingredients weren’t even warm. This was brought to the attention of the server and no service recovery was offered. We brought it home to put in the oven and finish cooking it. With so many restaurants available on the lake, I cannot recommend this establishment.

Didn't know where to go for lunch, we decided little nickis restaurant. It was our first time there, and the food and service was great. Definitely will go back for some great food.

2024 I guess nothing lasts forever. Last night I ordered Chicken Parmesan, same as always. Every order in the past has always been excellent but not this time. I don't know what changed but after eating some of it, the rest went right in the garbage. There was spaghetti mixed in with my penne, the macaroni already had grated cheese on it, and the chicken and sauce were heavily seasoned. What I got actually looked like someone else's leftovers. I'm very disappointed and will not be returning.

2023 My last review below was 3 years ago, and have been back several times between then and now. My wife and I went again last night and as always the food and the service were exceptional.

2020 Been here quite a few times. Always great and it's a BYOB. Atmosphere is warm and cozy. I highly recommend.

We went for dinner last Saturday. We asked to sit outside. There was a bit of food debris left on the table and I noticed the outdoor tables were not being wiped off between guests. This restaurant is a byob and so we brought a bottle of wine. We visit a lot of byob's ad so I was a bit taken aback when the waitress handed me the corkscrew and said, "here you go". The food was good. I had the chicken franchese which had a bit of cream in the sauce - nice touch! The sauce could have had more lemon, but it was flavorful. The mashed potatoes had some large pieces of unmashed potato but were tasty. My husband had Dom's Healthy Chicken - the dish was delicious. This is a good place to sit outside for a relaxing meal.
