We bought a whole lechon and we paid extra for a Lechon de Cebu. Was very disappointed. Lechon was bland, no taste at all. No salt or even spices inside the belly. Meat was still raw in some parts. Was very embarrassed to my visitors. Will not recommend. Paid $300 for the lechon.

Another filipino food haven in jersey city. I was attracted to their freshly baked goodies!

The place is small, but they carry most filipino goods

We spent $350+ here to get some catered food for a Filipino family gathering. We ordered several dishes but most of it was bad: vegetables and meat were cut in huge chunks, the caldereta didn't have enough sauce, some vegetables were undercooked and felt very raw, the Ube was grainy (instead of milky), the pancit looked like a rancid German pub salad and had a lot of water at the bottom and barely any noodles... Terrible experience, the cooks here are no good unfortunately...The only items that were good were the BBQ skewers, the egg rolls and the casava cake.I won't ever come back here.

I always ordered catering food here, not the best but convenient. Recently I inquired and expected the price on the website was incorrect as it wasn't updated, the problem is last couple of weeks that I called the price keep going up within 2 weeks! They just make it up and justify it by saying the price on the website isn't updated but to increase from my first call to the last (all within 2 weeks!) When I called the lady over the phone, she just hung up! Needless to say I went somewhere else. Ang sungeeeet!!! Ganyan din ugali if you shop in store!!! Maraming tindahan at kainan dyan sa NJ mag hanap kayo ng iba! Na mag appreciate sa pera nyo! Susme!

Get the Tupigs and the purple rice coconut pudding. These two are the most delicious desserts Casa Victoria has. They have a bunch of other rice puddings and rice based cakes - but these are forgettable. The store has an extraordinary number of Philippine groceries - you are bound to find everything you need to cook a regional meal. Avoid stuff in the fridge as far as possible. The fridge has problematic spores which end up on any rice pudding stored in them. Stick with the fresh puddings, cakes and baked goods outside on the counters.

For me, personally, I prefer their EMPANADAS among their own baked goodies.

I would give negative star if I could. The mean old lady at the cashier needs to be out to the store. She was so rude to me and my friend and we have 9 y/o kid with us. Rudely and meanly asked us to go out cause both of them isn’t wearing a mask, and her the cashier itself isn’t even wearing her mask properly.

I am glad this place is still around! They have a good selection of filipino groceries. They also have some cooked food for you to buy and take home. My trip was for the fresh balut and their hopia. One of the best hopia I have ever had.

With Fil-Stop gone and no other real choice for Filipino groceries, its decent and has most of what you might be looking for.
