I eat in this spot a lot since I work in the area. I got to say their customer service is always awesome and they keep the spot well kept constantly. Prices are affordable and they serve large portions.

This outstanding spot offers an incredible $7.99 all you can eat deal. Highlights included black pork, kare kare, longaniza and a banana dessert. It's a small place that possibly does more business on the catering side of things. Travelers from the distant land of...the other side of Jersey City should check it out, even if the light rail is acting sketchy.

Food is above average because it is not as greasy as other Filipino restaurants. Dinuguan was seasoned well with nice tang and pork was not too fatty. Ginitaang langka (jackfruit in coconut broth) was a pleasant vegetarian option not found at other restaurants. These were the highlights of the offerings. Skip the fried food. Very greasy sitting in it's own grease. Fried chicken was unfortunately not cooked through and lukewarm. Not a good idea especially since the dining area is HOT and HUMID because the air conditioning was not working properly. Lukewarm food + hot room = high risk of food poisoning. Really wanted to like this place because the food is good but hygiene is horrible. EVERY INCH of the dining area is sticky with grease, including tables, chairs and counters. Tons of boxes, cooking equipment and other misc items are scattered throughout and makes an unpleasant dining experience. All drinks in fridge were covered in sticky gunk (exploded soda can?) and also lukewarm despite being in the fridge. I am down for eating at dives but this place was GROSS. I'll give it another try once they clean things up. Otherwise, hard pass. Even if the food is good cheap eats nothing they offer is worth getting sick over, especially when there are so many other Filipino options in the area.

Just want to say that it is such a wonderful thing that this place is open until 9pm tonight unlike all the other Filipino places in Jersey City. I was desperately craving home cooked meal-type dish but all the other restaurants close at 7. Like, how about those who leave work at 7pm??? The food tastes just like my grandmother's cooking in the Philippines. It's a small place but it's the food that matters. I personally support small businesses and this just proves it more. The bigger, more popular ones are too busy and don't care as much. I was served by the owner herself who was very kind. She gave me a good amount of rice and was very kind, was not rushing and told me to sit down and eat. I just came from a big famous place 5 minutes prior which refused my business while other were eating joyfully and they're dropping food trays on their counter, when they advertise that they are open until 10PM. Either way, this place was a wonderful find! Thank you so much for feeding a hungry customer who left your premises very satisfied and happy! It's true, the way to anyone, especially a Filipino's heart, is through their stomach. Will be telling everyone about it! :)
