I can't believe that this place is closed. I only ate here once and had the green chili shio ramen. The green chili was smoked and spicy. The soup wasn't salty and the noodles were made fresh in the store. The juicy fried chicken bowl had the best value. There was so much chicken over rice. I have also tried the gyoza and loved how it came with yuzu chili paste, which was something I never had before.
You broke my heart Kitakata! The best ramen I ever had, and I had you in my neighborhood. Why did you have to close your Jersey City location? How are all your obsessively loyal patrons to cope with this loss? Sure there are dozens of other ramen places around, but none can replace you. Where will I find anything like your Green Chilli Shio Ramen, which was as if by magic both light and hearty, and spicy yet refreshing to the palate? Very clean and welcoming place. They provide big meals and for economical rates. I loved the menu very much and the staff members were very attentive and chatty. I recommend this place.
