The worst. Rude. Took an hour and half to make goyza. Avoid at all cost. Do not waste money. Good tastes like you know what. Not worth it

Despite growing up in Little Silver and passing Kissui for almost two decades, I recently decided to try it for the first time. While the interior is somewhat lackluster, the food itself was a treat. The clear soup and gyoza were incredible, and the sushi rolls were fresh and prepared well. Furthermore, the prices were reasonable, which is extremely refreshing during this administration. The restaurant was completely empty during dinner, though, which was somewhat sad to see. On the heels of the disappointing change of ownership at Little Szechuan "GoGo" (still cannot believe that is the name) - this may be my new standby for oriental cuisine in Little Silver.

Kissui Sushi is a casual, neighborhood sushi place. We always get a warm reception when we walk in. It’s been around for many years. Nowadays it seems a bit quiet and slightly dated but we always enjoy getting a quick, reasonably priced dinner here. The rolls are fresh and I like their salad dressing, it has a great sesame flavor, I prefer it over the orangey ones that other Japanese restaurants serve. The miso soup is full of tofu and seaweed, they certainly don’t skimp on the goodies in the soup. The tempura is lightly fried and yummy.

Excellent Sushi. Family run friendly and authentic
Words cannot explain how magnificent this place truly is. I had a 10/10 satisfactory with the friendly waiter who gave me excellent customer service. I absolutely LOVE the fried rice here! I gave some to my child and to no surprise everything was eaten. I also ate their chicken miso soup and the broth is so refreshing. Tastes homemade and has a kick to it! Pork Dumplings didn’t disappoint either.
