Got a turkey melt the first time it was great 10/10. Went back again they were all out but the guy made me something similar n it was just as good 10/10 !! Also great price I got one turkey melt bag of chips a soda and Mac n cheese for 20$! It’s good quality too

Wilkes donated a delicious sandwich platter to our Luck of St. Anthony’s fundraiser which was a hit with those attending. I had a small luncheon and a 32 piece finger sandwich platter was everyone’s favorite! Plus catered a birthday party for 50 withWilkes Mahwah! It’s been truly the best!!!

Wilkes in Mahwah has been an excellent NJ deli for decades. The sandwiches are delicious with generous portions of meat and cheese on fresh breads. Friendly staff, clean store, and reasonable prices keep me coming back whenever I’m in the area.
Paul, Phil, their family and staff could have not been more accommodating, helpful, friendly and courteous towards our students and myself. I am a local Special Education Teacher and the staff at Wilkes allowed us to have a mini field trip. They gave us the history of their deli, demonstrated how to use their machines and grill, took questions from students and allowed them to make a sandwich to bring back to school for lunch that day. The students had a blast! I feel the staff did as well. They went above and beyond for us! I could not thank them enough! New Favorite Deli! Staff is super friendly and the food is incredible. I will definitely be coming here anytime im even remotely in the area. P.S. the sandwiches are loaded up and have a great price tag to boot, worth every penny.

Great local feel and friendly staff, but the food is amazing. Best sandwiches anywhere and don’t waste your time going to NY for a Pastrami sandwich because I would put theirs up against Katz deli any day of the week. The rice pudding is one of my favorites !
