Cozy chinese restaurant with speed, taste and good price for both lunch and dinner menu. It was also located near the train station for me to walk here. Glad to find a nice vibe restaurant to have a nice chinese meals in this beach town!

Myself and my girlfriend stopped in here after having us a beach day. We had the house lo mein and the house fried rice, grabbed a couple cans of coke to go with it. Everything was on point. The lo mein was definitely delicious, the fried rice was awesome as well. All in all, it was an awesome meal, and they were nice enough to let us order five minutes before closing. The food was done super fast and came out as hot as could be. I would recommend this place to anyone who's in the mood for Chinese food while wandering the avenue on a beach day.Vegetarian options: They have various noodle and rice dishes that don't contain meat.

I ordered roast pork wonton soup there wasn't one bit of roast pork strips in the soup.Good Chinese restaurants always have a little bit of pork in the soup. And the broth had no taste to it

My first time here and I loved it. They have a dining room and also have take out. The dining room is very clean and have a few tables as well as comfortable booths. A few high top window seats if you'd like yo people watch. I ordered the Shrimp with garlic sauce. The shrimp were tender and so flavorful. It came with a medley of chinese veggies and side of pork fried rice. Loved the rice as well. It have chucks of pork in it and it was delicious. The dinner also came with choice of soup. I choose wonton which was not the best If ever had but it was good. I prefer a much darker broth with slices of pork and bok choy in my wonton. This two additions make it much more flavorful in my opinion. Service was good as well. I noticed they have $7.95 lunch specials. I will give that a try the next time I'm in the area.

I’m new to the area and tried this place a few weeks ago. I had a wonton soup and shrimp combo. I was not impressed. No flavor. I gave them a second chance today and took out Subgum Wonton. I was surprised to see the fried wonton were placed inside the container. Normally they’re packaged separately so they stay crisp. The chicken and pork were tender but once again, no flavor. However my biggest complaint this time was the lack of meat and seafood and the over-abundance of vegetables. This place is only 2 minutes from my house and the staff are very pleasant. I wanted this to be my main place for Chinese but unfortunately I’ll try the other guys next time.

I’ve been a customer of George Lu’s for many many years. It is the best Chinese food around. The restaurant is spotless and the owners are wonderful people. Try this place you will not be disappointed!

Food was average, mostly uninspired. But beware of hidden charges and fees. I was promoted to pay an additional $15 or so for no apparent reason. Really feel like I was ripped off, after triple checking my math for what the total should have been according to their menu prices. No itemized receipt either- please be careful about going here!! Certainly the most I’ve ever paid for Chinese food of this caliberEdit: I definitely was overcharged. Again, not just a few dollars, but something of 40% more than what I should have been charged.
