“First time visiting for me and my wife, as we walked in we didn’t know where to sit so we went upstairs. However, the server led us to a dimly lit corner despite plenty of tables available so we chose to sit downstairs instead, even though seating there was a bit tight and not very comfortable.

Our server downstairs was attentive and friendly, which we appreciated. That said, the overall atmosphere felt more geared toward guests with reservations for special party celebrations rather than people just for dining in, so we got the impression that we should wrap up and leave once we finished our meal.

“I have been going to Sonoma almost weekly for over a year now. It started off with taco Thursdays and their delicious margarita specials and has now turned into exploring every menu item possible. I am consistently impressed with the quality and taste of the food. Incredibly delicious every single time. I am gluten intolerant which can pose challenges. The kitchen and staff have been amazing In accommodating my food allergy. I highly recommend Sonoma on any day of the week. It very quickly became my favorite go-to restaurants.“

“Had a terrific lunch here. Some of the best ceviche I've ever eaten. Entrees were excellent and, according to my husband (who's been to Peru), authentic to the spirit of the country. I also got the arroz chufa with steak. Yum! Ample portions and good value. First meal on this trip to NYC and it'll be hard to beat. HIGHLY recommended.“

I'm pretty sure the Brad Lander for Mayor social event got cancelled today (5/30/25); these things have small turnout, & maybe don't add much to the discussion. I came here anyway to have a refreshing beer in honor of a candidate whose ideas 💡, career, & intestinal fortitude seem to be quite refreshing in American politics. I've definitely never been in this fine bar 🍻 before, & I can't remember the last time I walked on this block. I still think you should rank Lander first 🥇🏆 in the upcoming NYC mayoral primary election (June 24, 2025).“

“I came down for the first time last month to watch the Celtic match starting at 7 am, I didn't know what to expect but the food was great, the staff were all very welcoming and friendly, and the atmosphere was great even in the early morning. I was so impressed I stayed after to watch the EPL matches they were showing even though I'm not a big EPL fan. I will definitely be coming back, and it's a must-visit for any Celtic supporter in the New York area.“

Even when the bar got extremely busy, Chelsea never got flustered and showed total dedication and commitment to her duties and treated everyone to the same high standard of service whether it was for a group of people who were ordering 10 cocktails or to others ordering food Chelsea was excellent and on point! How Chelsea kept up her sense of humour, enthusiasm and energy levels is beyond my belief. Especially after the bar was packed from people whom left Seal's concert at the Beacon theater to grab drinks and a bite to eat. Although we saw other waiters throughout the night, she stood out. “Went to Dog house yesterday. Found out the chef left. 😩 Food definately proved it. used to Love the cheesecake sandwich, but not today. Way too much Wostishire that overpowered the sandwich and steak sliced too thick. Very disappointed! And the very young bartender was very disappointing also. only 6 people there and not very responsive or knowledgeable!“
