Phenomenal staff with great attitudes. Novel experience watching them make your chosen flavor fresh on the chilled surface. Appreciate that there's one price and any toppings at all are included. Fresh fruit options were great. Ambiance of seating and all was meh. The actual taste of the ice cream was bland and not very flavorful. I'm a person who avoids sugar and doesn't like sweets... It certainly wasn't sweet, just lacked depth of flavor other than the toppings themselves. Doesn't hold a candle to hand churned ice cream. Had coffee and vanilla (2 cups). Expensive at $8.50 each... Would think $7 at most.

I’m sadly going to have to warn that if you’re vegan or allergic to dairy not to chance attending this place maybe unless you’re going to stay and enjoy your treat. The first time that I went my experience with enjoying my dessert was phenomenal however, I could not stay yesterday because of the Super bowl and had to order to go. The worst mistake ever because I guess that they decided to hurry and repair my ice cream with dairy desserts and I have been very sick from the time I ate it at home all throughout the morning and now just overcoming the symptoms of my dairy allergy

Went twice while visiting Montclair based on the rave reviews of vegan coconut milk ice cream. The cashier tried to talk me into real ice cream LOL because it’s better texture. Odd but pleasing concept / texture to their ice cream rolls. 99% of the flavor was in the toppings, so cheat and indulge. Vegan whipped cream tasted real. $8 one size

I usually don't write about ice cream places because of how mainstream they are, but Absolute Zero blew my mind. The atmosphere and shop itself is nicely decorated! They have a good amount of choices so it's pretty easy to decide what you want. It is Montclair so parking is always a hassle but what can you do.
