Impressed!! The inside of this cafe is clean, aesthetic, and perfect for any visitor. They offer fresh delicious quality food and coffee at a reasonable price. I ordered the maple coffee, it has the perfect balance of sweetnesses and coffee. The chicken noodle soup tasted rich and delicious served with crackers and bread! The chicken fry was huge. It was $12 and did not come with any sides but you don’t need it! It comes with a huge piece of breaded chicken on a Portuguese style roll with amazing sauces. Super filling but not heavy at all!! The BLTA was fresh, light, flavorful, and delightful, I recommend!! You just walk up to the counter, order your food, grab your number, and sit while you wait shortly. This is a great option in Upper Montclair, one of favorite visits! They have an extensive menu and its options to please everyone at a great price!

The food was average, but the service & atmosphere were nice. I had the tofu Bahn mi and I was expecting it to be a bit spicy, but it was sweet, and too sweet at that. The hibiscus infused lemonade, ironically, had no sweetness, only sourness with a passing hibiscus flavor.

The food was delicious and service was great however just a suggestion that they should have a host to seat people in an organized manner since there is a time when it gets crowded and people are just hovering over tables waiting for people to finish eating (not comfortable for the person that is trying to finish their food). I would definitely go back though . Nice environment, really enjoyed it except for the seating situation .

Love love love this spot. Vegetarian options are the best in town. Breakfast/ lunch you will find something new to try every time. Crispy tofu Bhan MI is a must. The sweet potato hash burrito is a staple. I order two at a time.

Perfect spot to go just for a coffee and pasty, for breakfast or lunch. The service is great, staff always helpful and friendly. It can get a tad loud when it's busy, however it is perfectly fine during off peak times.

I love love love this place. I’m been enough times to get the vibe of it. It is more than your average cafe in terms of food options. They do not have service so you order at the counter and they bring your food to you. Although it isn’t exact science, I feel very strongly that they do not make your drink well if you don’t tip. I’m happy to do so, but if I’m getting my drink to-go I’m not going to tip. Not shockingly (like most cafes) my drinks to-go are significantly worse than if I would sit. I really love all their food options and they have friendly staff. They even have a chai they make themselves which I love so much. Their coffee is amazing and they spin the milk well. They are very busy most of time, so it isn’t a place that you can sit for a long time if you’ve finished your drink without feeling awkward while you watch people waiting for a seat. If I had to choose a coffee shop to sit and enjoy in the area - this is definitely the spot.
