Raymond’s is where it’s at! Epic diner known for frencn toast and pancakes, omelettes, home-made soups. They also have Wednesday night special-fried chicken! Can’t go wrong here.

Honestly better off going to a real classic nj diner. Order steak & eggs here, potatoes were definitely a couple hours old and tasted only like oil. Steak was way too dry for a medium steak, also comes in bites for some reason, not an actual steak. Service was slow and forgetful and when i sent back my meal, they were only willing to comp half of it. Way tooNoisy in the back to even hear your waiter and because of the noise of tables being cleaned and cutlery being thrown into buckets. Water glasses smell like fish so if you order bottled water please ask for plastic cups, even though mine also smelled bad. I really wanted to like this place but Ridgewood is much better. Will not be returning here.

We went to Raymond’s restaurant for a breakfast we ordered huevos rancheros,the classic Turkey club, and Belgian hot chocolate, the food was delicious we enjoyed the atmosphere and overall service. I really enjoyed the Belgian hot chocolate it was my favorite!!

Will never eat there again. We had our 5lb service dog with us and always sit up front to accommodate the other patrons. Manager and wait staff were rude. We left before we ordered. I have lived in Montclair and gone to Raymond’s for 20yrs. Never again. We went right down the street to Giotto Cafe, excellent!

Consistency is the key to longevity in the restaurant business and this is why Raymond’s has been around for so long. Every single order I get from Raymond’s, whether it be Door Dash or in person, is exactly the same. I’ve been hooked on their omelettes from day one and I dare you to find a more filling and perfectly cooked omelette. Never, I mean never have they served me an omelette that was burnt or overcooked. Been getting them for years and it is absolute perfection each and every time. Raymond’s can get pretty loud if you’re there when it’s crowded and be sure to visit when the weather cooperates so you can sit outside.
