Ok …the place gets 5 stars….love everything about it! Everything is amazing….one of the few stores ever that actually makes me happy to be in it!The missing star is for the hours. They close at 6pm!!! Come on, we are all just getting home from work….Tell you what, I will pay for your employees to extend the hours to 8 pm and you keep 80% of the profits and I keep 20….if you don’t see a huge uptick after 6 months, I will pay you $5kThat’s how sure I am right you have your hours all wrong!!

There's a cheese you've never had, waiting quietly for you, in a refrigerator, at Van Hook. And you'll marvel at the richness of its cream, the funkiness of its oak tones, its very existence. And then you'll realize there's hundreds of them. All kinds. And meats, jams, it just keeps going. I had a moment that was like the scene in Moscow on the Hudson when he sees the variety and amount of coffee. Some of the items were too high, but most were worth it. You're gonna need more than one day. I intend to have a little something from here every day I'm in the area, until the day I die. Plus, the lady in charge of the place looks like Zooey Deschanel. She's very informative and helpful. It's the cleanest place I ever saw. Go discover fresh cheese from all over the world. Small, inexpensive pieces are sold, too.

This is a great little gem in Montclair and bonus it has parking (which a lot of places don't have). I've gotten a two charcuterrie boards for myself and the other day I tried one of their grilled cheese sandwiches. Ordering the boards is super easy, you just tell them what you like, pay and they build you a little masterpiece. Each time I have picked them up the were ready for me. I didn't have to wait at all. For the sandwich, I got the classic with prosciutto and it was the best grilled cheese sandwich I have ever had. Plus the staff is super nice. What more could someone want?

One of my top 10 best grilled cheeses, I've taken my mother and my sister. This place would be great for someone who likes cheese. Kinda expensive but I mean, cheese is one of those fancy things so that's permissible. The grilled cheese is pretty cheap... considering how filling it is and the options thats usually all I get. One time I bought candles. Those were nice.
