Friendly service, nice wine selection and amazing food sums up our experience. I have eaten here once before a while back and I remember liking the food, but our meal was truly delicious! We will be back more. Some favorites included the calamari, meatballs, veal Milanese and pasta with short ribs.

My absolute favorite place to go for a meal. The owner and all the staff are so attentive. Food is superb and an overall wonderful experience. Weekends are very busy so I suggest a reservation and it gets a bit noisy. If you want quieter atmosphere come during the week.

This was the first time eating here. Staff was friendly and attentive. My granddaughter had the ravioli and loved it. I had shrimp francaise and it was so delicious! My husband had sirloin . He likes it rare. It was sizzling on a platter long enough for it to be more medium. Although he said it was " okay", for the price it should have been terrific. We would eat here again, but he'll try something else. All in all I would say try this restaurant. The staff really was that good and I was not disappointed!!

Good fusion restaurant. However, I have a shellfish allergy, and though they were very accommodating and my meal of chicken Parm was excellent, there is a lot fish and shellfish on the menu so for others to be aware. Staff were wonderful and atmosphere was great for our office Christmas dinner!

Extremely friendly staff, the owner (bonito) is very pleasant and accommodating. I had the Bronzine fish, which was excellent along with spinach and baked fingerling potatoes, my wife had a chicken dish which she enjoyed very much. Naturally being Christmas Eve the service was not it's normal 100% due to the full house, which you have to understand. Will be back very soon.

Just had a so so dinner here with my girlfriend. Angus meatballs should be renamed, they tasted like frozen meatballs, they were certainly not angus grade. The fried onions that came on top were stale and bland. Would not recommend them. The bread came out warm but was not fresh, the inside was very hard. I got the braised short rib and for the price would've like it to be more tender, also the spinach and mashed potatoes that came along with it were very bland. Now the positives, my girlfriend got the spinach and ricotta ravioli and that was pretty good, but still overpriced. We split a Caesar salad as an appetizer and that was also pretty good. The only thing spectacular about this meal were the two drinks which were exceptional. The Rose Flower Spritz and the Dragonberry Mojito for reference. The setting was nice and quiet and the service was very nice but it didn't make up for the lack of quality in the food and the high prices. I think this place is okay but not somewhere I would travel out of my way to get to.

We were here for the first time Sunday night. Our dinner was hit or miss. The hits-We shared a wedge salad and it was a nice size portion with plenty of blue cheese. The tomatoes were sweet. We ordered the Salmon with Pistachio crust. It was a nice size portion and was well prepared. Now the misses- The corn risotto served with Salmon was unremarkable. The Angus meatball appetizer was not beef as Angus infers. They tasted like frozen turkey meatballs. The Steak Frittes was accompanied by a chimichurri that tasted like parsley and olive oil were put in a food processor. Chimchurri should not be smooth but have texture from the chopped ingredients. It lacked flavor of the garlic, shallots and other ingredients. The sauce did nothing to enhance the steak. As others have stated the service was very rushed and because it was not busy the staff was hovering around just waiting to take your dish. It was uncomfortable. Overall, a disappointing expensive meal.

The first time we went to the Providence Bar and Kitchen we had a wonderful experience. The staff was wonderful. I would have given it 5 stars. We enjoyed it so much, we returned a week later for an early dinner. I am sorry to say, it was a different experience. The staff was still great, but we had an issue that was handled poorly. My girlfriend ordered a sliced steak, medium. It came out almost raw. When she tried to send it back, we were told the chef did not recommend putting it back under the broiler, as it was sliced, it would dry out. So, she was stuck with a steak she could not eat. I'm sorry, but the restaurant should have prepared a new steak, just the way she ordered it. It was not her fault the steak was not prepared the way she ordered it She did not eat that night They gave us a slice of cheesecake, but that doesn't cut it. We paid for a meal we didn't eat. I'm disappointed, because I thought we might have found a new "go to " place.

We were there last Sunday for happy hour. The food here is excellent and the staff is except the bartender! He spent the entire time texting on his phone. We had to get our own menus. When taking out order, he was texting. He also texted, touched food and texted without washing his hands when phone hold a lot of germs. He was very unpleasant and had nothing but negative things to say about everything. He is such a buzzkill for a great restaurant.

The stuffed mushroom appetizer and the salads were excellent. The chicken entrees were just average. Service was great. We like the bar area with the high tops. The biggest concern is the drink prices. Yikes. 2/3 of dinner bill was the drinks.
