A very nice man at Vinnys answered the phone when I called to ask if they delivered food and he said that he did not speak English and call back at another time.

I recently had the pleasure of ordering authentic ecuadorian food at Vinny's Pizzeria. A locally owned restaurant near the Newark-Penn Station in Newark. Once I walked in, I was immediately struck by the warm and inviting atmosphere of the restaurant. The staff was polite and courteous, tables were set ready to one side and the food buffet at another. This restaurant offers much more than just pizza, ranging from fried chicken, to white rice, to pulled pork, empanadas, and more. The service was excellent. Our waiter was knowledgeable about the menu and was happy to answer any questions we had.The menu at Vinny's features a wide variety of Ecuadorian dishes, as shown in the picture above. I ordered the "hornado" a well known Ecuadorian cuisine, which consists of white rice, pulled pork, plantains, and black beans. They give you more than you could ever ask for, plenty of food for a great price.

I recommend the fried chicken legs. I had bought 1 chicken leg on a Tuesday and I came back the next day to order 4 fried chicken legs, call 30 minutes ahead. Afterwards I'm ordering 5 fried chicken legs every Wednesday you must try them..

Quick and inexpensive meal. I haven't had the pizza I usually get the Ecuadorian lunch specials. Something different to get other then portugués food. Customer service was great. Very friendly and informative.

Came here for a birthday and they were fabulous. The service was great- accommodating and welcoming. We shared the calamari which was delicious. I really liked the broth that it was in. I tried a bite of the burrata appetizer. YUM!!!!! That burrata was amazing!!!! For my entree, I had the spaghetti nero and clams. The noodles are made with squid ink so it is black.
