Now open for lunch. This place is amazing! The best quality sushi straight from Japan. Best Omakase my friends and family have had in the NY area, the country and internationally! All homemade deserts as well. A must try over and over! Amazing atmosphere and drinks as well! The owner takes great pride in serving the best food and providing the best experience! Thanks!

Food is fabulous along with the atmosphere and drinks. The bartender Kevin makes amazing drinks. The owner, Allen, is so nice and was able to put my food in after they were closed. Thank you all!!

Great vibe, food & service. The owner/manager certainly pays attention to detail as he realized our Korean short rib appetizer wasn’t cut up. As someone who’s done hundreds of dinners over the last 12yrs I can appreciate that level of service and attentiveness. This place will do well!

Absolutely knocked my socks off. Double date went fantastic and the katya roll made me believe the earth was flat. It was that good. Can’t recommend enough. My new favorite sushi place.

First time here.sushi enthusiast. From the perspective of someone who had patroned most of the high end Ny and nj spots, this place still has some things to fix if it wants to be part of that top echelon. Some things that need fixing :
1- the sushi rice was way off. Way too sticky and super filling. Overpowers the fish. There were multiple ppl at other tables mentioning the same thing.
2- most of the rolls have a ton of sauce on them- from our perspective, way to much and not what you typically see at high end sushi places
3- the eggplant app, was undercooked. Sauce was good but the skin was tough.
4- service is a little rushed and things aren’t timed properly. When we made the reservation they made it a point to tell us they were fully committed and it was anything but fully committed. Again- multiple tables were over heard complaining that it’s too rushed. I don’t want to eat a high end sushi meal in 25 mins.
For the price, this place has some things to tweak. There are several local to Montclair places that have better fish, granted they aren’t as fancy.

Amazing atmosphere! Apps were pricey and subpar. Sushi was also medium grade. I was a little disappointed in the quality of the food, but our children loved the atmosphere. The cocktails were excellent!

A hidden gem. As you walk in you will instantly appreciate the detail in the design and aesthetics of the place. The food is Amazing, no other words to describe it. Fish is flown in from Japan fresh daily which demonstrates the authenticity of the cuisine being served and shows the owner/chef’s high level of expectations for the dishes being served. The pairing of flavors, plate presentation and taste all combined is an experience.The owner is friendly and engaging, the servers are attentive, and the bartenders create unique and flavorful cocktails which everyone enjoy.Overall a great place to experience amazing food, cocktails, aesthetics and music.

Exceptional dining experience- drinks were outstanding, and the omakase was phenomenal. Each piece was beautifully presented but also incredibly delicious (and so fresh).Overall, this restaurant has set a high standard for dining in the area. With great service, amazing drinks, and an unforgettable omakase menu, it's a must-visit. Can't wait to return!

Allan does it again!! Who’d a thought a Jewish kid from BKLYN would create NJ’s BEST DAMN SUSHI EXPERIENCE EVER!! Best food, fresh fresh.. make the body go limp every time I throw back a piece!
