I’ve dinned here twice while on vacation in NJ. The food both times was absolutly delicious. The JBJ Soul seasoning is to die for. Both times I’ve ate here our server was Lisa is she is so friendly, knowledgeable and straight up phenomenal. Chef Emily cooks amazing, delicious food. Bottom line is what they do here for the local community is utterly amazing. The concept is to pay it forward so someone else who cannot afford to eat can come in and enjoy a hot meal. They recommend $25 per person, giving more if you are able is always welcome. It is truly farm to table food. They have their own farm which was donated to them. They grow their own herbs out front. They sell shirts, mugs, seasonings and yummy local honey. Every time I’m in NJ on vacation I will always make it a point to come to JBJ Soul not only for a good meal but to donate.

Excellent service, everything very delicious, thoughtful with people, we visited from Brooklyn and the experience was great. Moe, the volunteer who assisted us, has a great vocation for service and is exceptional.

Soul Kitchen was everything I wanted it to be! ? On my bucket list for years, it was worth every minute. They lived up to their story of feeding the community. The volunteers knew some of their customers by name and even sat down to talk. I expected a restaurant with a story of service to have basic, even bland food, but I was so happy to be proven wrong! I even came home with a bag of the Soul Seasoning to cook with. The portions were large and delicious.I'm so happy to support such an amazing restaurant with their mission to help those who are food insecure. Much love to Jon Bon Jovi and his foundation.P.S. I'm marking this as $30 because that is the recommended donation for the 3 course meal. I was pleased (and lucky) to be able to make a donation on top of that in addition to purchasing seasoning and a t-shirt.Parking: There are spots directly in front of the restaurant as well as on the street. Since the building across the street was closed, I parked there.Kid-friendliness: The food is good and the volunteers are amazing and quick. I would definitely have eaten there with my kids when they were little.Wheelchair accessibility: The entryway is flat and there is enough room between tables for a wheelchair. I'm sure they would be happy to help with accommodations I needed. I watched a woman on crutches maneuver fairly easily through the tables.

Great food and vibes. And it feels great to know the organization feeds our community.
Definately a 5 Star plus. Food was really good, including the portion size. My husband said he was suprised by the food quality and how its plated... He said we would have paid a lot more for what we ordered elsewhere.Staff is super friendly. It was worth the almost 4 hour drive 1 way to come here.Definately reccommend this place to eat and support a cause. We were more then happy to pay for our meals and pay it forward as well.

This was not just a wonderful meal; it was a powerful heartwarming experience. The food was amazing but from the moment we arrived, we were treated with such love, and that is what witnessed as they served each individual dining. You must try this restaurant. ONE NOTE: check the days and times carefully before arriving.
10/10 experience ! Came here for my mothers birthday and everything was phenomenal. The food was delicious and the service was excellent, our server, Mo, was such a delight. Highly recommend trying out JBJ Soul Kitchen for a great time along with helping a great cause.
