We’re more than half way thru our NJ Ice Cream Tour and Cliff’s was a delicious stop! This is not a “hidden gem” considering the line LOTS of people know about it - and the praise is well deserved. Lots of flavors! The ice cream was creamy and flavorful, the scoops very generous. Service was great, friendly and fast and patient ? Lots of kids and families. Lots of parking on site. Picnic tables arranged around the building, some in shady places, a plus on these hot days.
Best vanilla soft serve I've ever had ..of course sprinkles didn't hurt..

The ice cream is good, but whoever thought up the queue situation is performing a social science experiment on the general population. Having the lines be a complete free-for-all without knowing which windows are open or how many orders are ahead of you is the worst method possible. Your time in line will vary from 2 minutes to 20 depending on which line you chose completely at random. All of this could be so easily resolved if they would just set up a set of rope stanchions.

It's worth the 30-minute drive for us. Simply great ice cream with creative flavors. So far, the only place in NJ that we have found that has huckleberry. Can get quite busy onnnoce summer nights. Bavarian cream raspberry truffle is a favorite.

I love this place and the old school vibes! Great flavors and very delicious ice cream! The park next to it, is an nice addition, as it brings people together and it’s not just a quick stop. My favorite flavor was the coffee fudge with peanuts toppings. ? recommended!
