Great Irish pub! I have coming here for over 40 years. Sizzling sliced steak is an awesome must have! Burgers and fish entrees are always delicious too! Staff is excellent and attentive.
My wife and I went out to dinner for a date night and we both were very pleased with our experience. The French onion soup was terrific. Possibly the best! We were both very pleased with the main meals and drinks as well. I would definitely recommend this place.
I've been coming here for a couple years. I like the bar and trivia night. Drinks are good and the bartenders are great. 4 stars for the Bar. Restaurant is probably 1 star. Couple reasons. Wait staff is just inept. I've tried dinner with my family 4 times. Each time they got the order wrong. And it takes literally forever to place an order, receive food, and ultimately pay the check. It's just frustrating. It's basic food. Burgers. Sandwiches. Salads. Best thing on the menu is the sizzling chicken. But, it's super basic. Salads are mediocre. Lettuce always soggy, which feels wrong. And weird. But, the service is just plain bad. You have to cajole the waitress to order. Ask repeatedly if the food is in. Tonight literally waited an hour for a salad. And then had to beg for the check multiple times so we could leave. In summary, great place for a drink and for trivia. Terrible for dinner.
I usually never unhappy with the food but on Saturday July 2 some friends decided to go to there for dinner..3 or us ordered Corned Beef. The sandwiches were so dry and tasteless,we are not complainers so we didn't say anything..I do have to say the chicken wings were the best I ever had..The waitress Juliette was lovely and very friendly .Our bill was over $120.so it wasn't like you get what you pay for l.
Not like it use to be something has changed and not in a good way. Had sliced steak not like in the past it was real sliced steak. Now it seems it is purchased pre sliced/cubed steak not same quality or taste. Would rather pay more for quality than what was served.
Fantastic steak and beer selection. Place is a homerun.
I cant say enough about this place, the parking lot was packed on a june summer night. We were seated so quickly, our waitress Dyanne was absolutely incredible, we felt as if weve came here for decades after our first visit. We couldnt put down our food and thats because it was all phenomenal. Even watching all the other staff everyone was working so efficiently, the hostess was working so hard and cleaning up so well. If you are as inpatient as i am, i really preffer to get my check almost as soon as im finished eating and Dyanna was the fastest server to have ever done this. I think we will eat dinner there the remainder of our honeymoon.Thank you harrigans, you all made our dinner amazing.
Let me start by saying the service was friendly and fantastic. Also the food was very good. Those were the positives. The negatives were outrageous prices and more importantly if you're going to claim to be an Irish Pub, be an Irish Pub. There are no real Irish dishes on the menu. So disappointed.
Was sad there were no more $5 apps for happy hour. Apps we got were just ok. The app $7 special cheesesteak pinwheels had no cheese but edible bc my mom really wanted themNothing exciting this time. nice atmosphere but was wayyyy better before
Just wanted to take a moment to say "thank you" for an amazing dinner and a great staff. Very welcoming and outgoing to the customer. David and Chris were very kind to 2 Massachusetts women who stopped in for a wonder meal. Food was unreal. Cheers!
Been coming all winter and never had a bad meal here. Friendly service, nice pub atmosphere. Basically what you'd expect from an Irish pub.
Great old school traditional Irish pub!! The food is amazing. Try the sizzzzzling garlic steak!
Great food and comfortable atmosphere.
Friendly staff, good comfort food. A little disappointed in the fact that my drink order was off. I requested a scotch on the rocks and I got a glass full of ice and a sip of scotch
This is a locals dream. Negative reviews cant be believed. I go here all the time. Our food is always good. Service is always good. The dubliner might be the best sandwich in nj,yes nj. Drinks are always good. Apps are always good. Its a good solid place for a quick meal. Its not high end dining, just a local bar with great food at surprisingly fair prices. Going tonight for a dubliner with a side of gravy.
