New Jersey diner experience at its best!! Open faced Ruebin with fries, slaw and pickle on the side. I love it when the food comes out just like you remember. The food was also nice and hot(not warm)!

I basically grew up coming to this diner so I'm probably really biased. Love the food and it's a great place to go after a night of drinking.

I was greeted by a peculiar aroma—a blend of burnt coffee, desperation, and regret. The flickering neon sign promised “Home-Style Cooking,” but little did I know that “home” referred to a place where culinary dreams go to die.The food is so unseasoned a rat wouldn’t eat it. Imagine a pancake so dense it could double as a doorstop. The syrup slid off its surface like a desperate escapee. I suspect the chef used cement mix instead of flour. The scrambled eggs were a paradox—overcooked yet underwhelming. They tasted like a failed chemistry experiment: part rubber, part existential crisis. The bacon strips resembled fossilized bookmarks. I tried to chew one, but it fought back like a stubborn shoelace. The coffee—oh, the coffee! It tasted like regret steeped in lukewarm water. I half-expected it to whisper, “You deserve better.”This diner is a vortex of vileness. The owner should win an award—for “Worst Host” or “Most Likely to Crush Souls.” If you seek rudeness, mediocrity, and existential angst, this diner is your nirvana.

Twas a dark and mildly overcast night with a few sprinkles hanging in the air when the urge came up on me... I want to go to the diner and not be so alone. Being alone is a horrible thing. So stop in did I and what to my eyes did behold a smattering of people and weary wait staff who still have genuine smiles and care for people. I got my food cooked to order and just the right amount of checking not too much not too little. With a laugh as I went to pay the bill the manager asked if I'd like to go cup or did I like the glass that much. Great people and diner food you expect in NJ. I'll be returning.
