This review is just for the coffee and the experience. F found out about this little cafe from a member at the gym. A tiny unassuming storefront on Butler St in the heart of the Burg. In the past, I guess, it was run by an Italian couple and was a local, Italian espresso/dessert place. Well, the couple is gone, as are the desserts, gelato and cannoli. But...the glorious copper espresso machine remains! From the outside Panorama Musical looks pretty much like it must have looked in bygone days when the Burg was an Italian stronghold. But walk inside and your senses will take a moment to re-adjust. Expecting sweet dessert smells, instead it smells like delicious Latino food. Instead of old Sicilian men sitting around drinking espresso, there are Latino men sitting around eating, what looks like great food. Every table taken... and at 8:30pm! Behind the counter two young people working furiously to fill the demand. But what about the coffee... Exquisite! 3 perfect cappuccinos, hand drawn by a talented youth, from that beautiful espresso machine. We enjoyed our drinks sitting outside at the plastic patio tables. It is a quiet street and it was a warm end of summer night, but PM was hopping. Even their take-away business was brisk. We left around 9:45 and the place was still jumping! This is why I love living in Trenton!

This was a former Italian Coffee Shop. Located right next to the Italian Peoples Bakery. Most Italians left the Burg a long time ago and Centro Americanos moved into their place. The owner of this place still makes great Espressos, Cappuccinos and Lattes. Today I decided to also have lunch with my son here. There is no menu and just a small hot buffet but ask the people for the daily special and you get a great meal. Today's special was Chicken Soup and I can tell you, it was one of the best chicken soups I had in a long time. Where else in Trenton do you get a good meal and a great coffee in the same place for less than a fast food chain meal?
