Had the rice and beans, 3 piece of chicken and the Mac and cheese. At first I was skeptical but after experiencing taste of Flava, my perception of them have change. I'll be back very soon to try something different.

Some of the reviews on here note the service but since I ordered online, I really can't touch on that. I ordered from this restaurant via Uber Eats. I feel like this review would be easiest if I just list the items and my opinions. So in a sec, I'll do just that. Before I do though, I just want to note that the delivery was faster than I anticipate which was convenient. Okay sooooo: Beef ribs w. Candied yams and collard greens: unfortunately when I opened this platter super excited like a kid on Christmas Day, there was Mac&cheese instead of yams. No yams :( So I was DEVASTATED. I tried my best to remove most of the Mac because I don't do dairy but it was like the greens were placed on top of it so no matter how much I picked out noodles, I just couldn't escape them. The ribs were pretty good (a bit salty) but they were tender and falling off the bone. The greens were incredibly salty. I tried my best to eat them but I couldn't get through it. Sweet and sticky wings: These wings literally had 0 sweet or sticky about them. I wonder if they missed that on the order? I'm not sure. I was really looking forward to them because there are a plethora of wing options so I though wings might be their specialty but I was mistaken. It was like they were slightly kissed on the cheek by some sort of sauce but I have no idea what kind of sauce it was. Regular wings(no sauce): These wings were great. Plain fried, not absolutely amazing but also not bad at all. Just plain, fried, wings. Side of candied yams: YUMMMAAA-- sooo delicious. I'm glad my friend got their order because I was able to taste it and chile did it make me sad that I never received mine with my rib order because they were DELICIOUS. Cabbage: I ordered cabbage but never received it. I would love to review it but I can't :( So yeah--- I'm not sure I I would come back because there were so many inconsistencies but I'm glad I tried something new in the area.

Total rip off. We ordered chicken and shrimp and broccoli with spicy rice. Paid $50, we got $20.50 for change. There was no broccoli, it was the size of a round tin. On the menu it's $17 without broccoli and $20 with broccoli. So why did we pay $30? I thought because maybe we ordered a large size but no, it was just one person size. When we took it home, we hoped it would at least tastes good. The chicken was dry, and the rice was soaked in oil. Really upsetting.

So far so good. No complaints on my end, the food usually delivers fast as i order from uber eats. And i usually get the same order. (Bang bang shrimp or chicken and jollof rice). Very tasty and fresh. Thank you for everything, looking foward to the same services in the coming orders

Went and got the whiting fish sandwich and it had a weird and funny taste to it! Do not know what they use or what they fry it in but its not good at all! Do not buy the whiting fish! The Jollof rice was flavored well but very sticky! I had jollof rice before it was not like that. First time eating here and last time.

I paid $35 dollars for oxtails, which was nasty taste like they was just boiled in some water in the microwave no flavor rubbery and very little was giving, white rice that was mushy look like it was from a bag not jasmine like I order which was on the menu and some 3 day old collard greens. First of all the wait was too damn long for the food to be improperly made. On top of that I order some banana pudding which was horrible. I will not recommend this place.. Food is overpriced, nasty, small portions of meat, collard greens and large amount of bagged rice plus the wait is too long.. After all that they banana pudding taste like it right from a can HORRIBLE....THIS RESTAURANT DOES NOT DESERVE A STAR.. TASTE OF FLAVA SHOULD RE-EVALUATE THEY NAME IT SHOULD BE CALLED TASTE OF CAN GOODS MICROWAVE FOOD.. I was so disappointed

my husband and i were so excited to eat here, but it was so disappointing. lamb chops were tiny, salmon looked and tasted like frozen salmon that comes in the bags, chicken had no flavor. jollof rice & collard greens were good and flavorful, but i could’ve made that at home. banana pudding over priced & mediocre. mango drink didn’t even taste like mango, just over sweetened and nasty. our 2 plates & banana pudding was around $70 but it seems as though they are charging for the location and NOT quality food. smh long story short… never again.
So it's Sunday and church is over and we're hungry for some soul food. There were a few to choose between, but this one had the Sunday sides were seeking. I ordered Turkey wings, candy yams and greens, and expensive oxtails (28.00) with Mac N cheese and greens with a side order of potato salad! The order was hott and fresh but all the sides were far better than the oxtails (4 medium size) and very very salty gravy! The Turkey wings nice sizes but dry and burnt. Overall 4 out of 10 not sure if I'll try them again.

In my opinion the food was tasty. I had the sauted spinach, mac and cheese and the catfish with a side order of yams. Wasn't expecting the yams to be mashed sweet potato. Overall the food was good. They definitely need to work on customer service!!! Having not so pleasant people taking orders can definitely bring a business down driving away customer.

I ordered a seafood rice, bbq wings, and a ciroc steak and shrimp for myself and a friend before yall think I'm fat lol. None of it was good. The steak had a weird taste, the seafood rice was mushy and mostly imitation crab and 2 shrimp, and the wings were edible. My uber eats driver also had to wait 30 minutes at the restaurant for the food to be ready.
