My husband just picked up an order from American Deli in town and the employees slammed the sandwich down and cursed him out and yelled at him for absolutely for no reason at all. Whether they're having a bad day or have their panties in a bundle, they better fix em quick before the lunch crowd! This kind of attitude doesn't fly well in our town. Bad example of humanity! These employees should be fired! I wouldn't want them representing any business before they learn manners!!

This place gets a star off for the fact that I don't cafe how good it is, $9.09 for a Taylor ham egg and cheese is a bit overboard. I also agree with other postings that the lady behind the counter is as about a personable as a wet sponge. She pretty much didn't even acknowledge my existence until it was time to pay and even then, not exactly cheery.
That being said the cook (who was actually polite and personable) took my order. The sandwich was pretty top notch. Fresh roll, gooey cheese with a nicely cooked egg. The taylor ham was cooked between a flatop and griddle to add perfect lines of blackening (not burnt) to really bring out it's flavor. Most places don't do that and it makes massive difference in flavor. Overall it was very good. It was a bit of a mess to eat but that's because it was piping hot right off the grill.

American Deli and Grill makes the best Buffalo Chicken wrap I’ve ever had. I can’t say it enough how good it is, especially when Frank is making it. It’s like a wrap made in heaven. All their sandwiches are packed to the gills with meat. Best deli in Vernon hands down.

Just got a sandwich from here and it was sloppy and a rude woman behind the counter I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I would rather go to Hamburg Hot bagel they have better sandwiches and take care of their customers.

For jersey this is an awful deli. They'd fit in much better in somewhere like Alabama or Mississippi. However they wouldn't be able to charge those prices there.

My family and I were going to a concert so I decided to bring subs with us for dinner. The subs were huge! We got 3 subs that could have fed 6 people and a lunch box special. They were delicious. I highly recommend this deli for the best subs in the Vernon area. We have also gotten breakfast sandwiches and they ate also delicious. If you are looking for homemade empinadas, they make them fresh!
