We Enjoyed a mocha and a London Fog, then added home made soup and a crafted sandwich for a perfect chillax experience. The atmosphere is quiet and homelike and the staff is full of smiles and positivity. Highly recommended.

A wonderful little cafe to stop at before or after your hike through the Battery+ Signal Hill areas of St.Johns. I had a great coffee, lovely grilled cheese and soup and came back the next day for more! There are several tables inside and a takeaway window at the side.

Dietary restrictions: A quaint spot that served gluten-free options and a fantastic London Fog tea. Friendly service. I would definitely recommend and return again!

Super cute little cafe! All baked treats were delicious especially the magic bar. My favourite for breakfast was the smoked salmon bagel. Prefect size. Such friendly staff. Barista's made delicious coffees! Wish this was around the corner from me! Highly recommend

Stopped in early weekday morning for a cup of coffee and a pastry. Partridgeberry spice cake, hot partridgeberry scone, and a breakfast sandwich. Coffee was delicious, pastries and sandwich were so good! Thanks Battery Cafe, love the location, the food, and the pleasant staff! The multi-lingual staff (German, English, Newfie?) were a hoot and engaged nicely with the regulars and we newcomers. All of Canada would be better if every Tim’s were replaced with a Battery Cafe!

My coffee was good. I am giving four stars though because I was kind of in the mood for a sandwich and the kitchen was closed. Can someone explain the time frame when cafes make sandwiches to me?

What a great location!! We visited St. John's recently due to a death in our family and stayed in rental just across the street from the Cafe! We bought coffee, breakfast sandwiches, and other baked treats there a few times and absolutely loved everything about it. My wife and daughter both went there at different times and I did once as well and was so impressed with the service of the staff. They were so friendly and helpful that it was a joy to go back! I did find the prices a little high however I don't believe it was more than you would pay at other specialty coffee shops and honestly with the great service and the impressive baked goods I was good with paying the money. I look forward to my next visit to St. John's in the near future. Sorry, I once again forgot to take pictures of the baked goods. Note, you must try the homemade sausage and egg breakfast sandwich! It was to die for!! Yummy!!!! (:>}

Very cute spot with a good view of the harbour. It was a little crowded, but vibes are still really cozy and relaxed. Latte was amazing, and the wrap and sandwich were also really great. Coffee was pretty good, but was almost room temperature. A great spot to stop for lunch!

Cozy cafe with tasty lunch options near the start of the trail to Cabot tower. Live gigs like St. John's Storytelling Circle and local musicians make this a hidden gem.
