A unique experience when eating Costa Rican tamales, they prepared our drinks as we suggested, the owner attended to us personally, the price was reasonable for the size of the plate, the service was excellent although it is a very small but very cozy restaurant ??

Food blew us away! Everything is authentic and you can tell it's prepared with heat. The staff are so friendly and made great recommendations. I loved the chicharron plate and the beef and papa empanada. Yucca fries the egg and rice were so flavorful.

If this place had more stars, I would give them everything from the food to its magnificent workers. I haven't had food as exquisite as that in years and I know what I'm talking about because I'm a chef, my respect and congratulations to all the staff there. place that also treated me as if I were family ??????

I've been around the world. And can tell you that this food is the most closest to authentic that you will find in this state. Try not to come close to close on the weekend as it seems some is prepared and ages to a taste that I would not want to repeat.

Puerto Rican Latino food is as all new to me but whatever I ate was a as delicious!! Ute outdoor place. My dog loved it too!!
This cuisine reminds me of the great food in NYC! I get tired of jalapeños on everything! For me, there's a big difference between food with delicious spices and hot spicy foods that make my nose run. That's me. Friendly staff. Though it has no room for eating indoors, in the warmer weather the outside is perfect. I love take-out also! The owner seems on top of everything and I hope it's paying off! The food at Buen Provencho stays on my mind for days afterwards. Just right!

This was my first time here and the food was excellent. The staff was great and the ambiance was peaceful. This restaurant sits right across from the Albuquerque Botanical Garden in the El Vado Hotel shopping center. The outdoor seating area was really nice.

Ropa Vieja platter... well seasoned stewed beef, spicy black beans, fluffy white rice topped with a fried egg and a runny yoke to increase the unctuousness... all for me, licking the yolk from my finger, dipping the fried traditional bread into the gravy... so full of flavor. Lovely Maduros on the side and some coconut water to wash it down. I almost forgot I'm in Albuquerque right across Central from the Botanical gardens. It's inside the El Vado motel place with lively artist vendors and a nice taproom too. Kinda can't beat it for ambiance and hen you live eating outdoors. Bikers and low riders love to cruise by here.

Wow. Just WOW. People are super friendly, food tastes even better than it looks, and the vibes of the patio are spot on. HIGHLY recommend!!!!

I had a great experience here! The owners and employees are very friendly and quick at preparing dishes. The food is authentic Costa Rican, and the BEST in town. Ever had yucca fries before? Get them here! There's also a large amount of vegan and vegetarian options and they are clearly labeled. They offer free water as well, alongside some other specialty drinks. The food is always good and well priced as well. Quality restaurant in the heart of Old Town Albuquerque!Vegetarian options: A fairly large variety of vegatarian and vegan options and dishes are available. Ask about what sauces are vegetarian/vegan before ordering.Parking: Parking is located outside the pavilion where all the shops are, in the El Vado Motel parking lot.Kid-friendliness: The employees are very nice, not rude at all.Wheelchair accessibility: All the tables are outside allowing for easy wheelchair access. The small waist- high gate to get in is large enough for wheelchairs.
Super delicious.
